Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he speaks with Butker "all the time" but did not feel the need to address the kicker's comments because "everybody's got their own opinions."

And so, we all get along, we all respect each other's opinions -- and not necessarily do we go by those, but we respect everybody to have a voice. [That's the] great thing about America. And we're just, like I said, a microcosm of that, and my wish is that everybody could kind of follow that."

The locker room mentality of "no matter what you feel personally, we're all working together in pursuit of a common goal" would be one the general public would benefit from learning.

Yes twocoach I understand the Chiefs are the SB champs and have to win the games to get there and they’ve done it before. Still odds compared to other teams stacked a bit against us.

Pretty much my point a few pages ago. Chiefs fatigue. Crazy scheduling really. The NFL is able to manipulate rest like never before with all the streams. Beyond the rest, the scouting advantage and prep is a killer.
