That intent of that article is blatantly obvious. Keep their readers hating rural "folks" and feeling superior so the divide remains. It's dumb. The other side does the same shit.
Don't you think the 42% who refuse to get vaccinated are the biggest factor in creating that divide?
Yes, the divide over the vaccine.

But the divide is there on pretty much everything.

CNNs article isn't written to entice people to get the vaccine. It is written to make fun of rural Missourians who have to get the vaccine in secret (all 5 of them) because their readers/viewers eat that shit up. It's dumb.

I don't believe it.
I say there is all but zero chance that 90% are/were fully vaccinated.

I wonder how many kids who attended with fake CDC vaccination cards care about this......

Imagine risking COVID to see Limp Bizkit at a festival crowd in 2021.

I think your odds of catching something at a Limp Bizkit concert in 2021 are pretty high.

i believe so

it’s just a “leaked” internal report (like a powerpoint presentation or something), so take it with a grain of salt

the data has yet to be thoroughly vetted and scrutinized

He'll read the word chickenpox. Go, chickenpox is no big deal, therefore, this is no big deal either. Since he's not looking at it emotionally.

I Wouldn't Trade Breathing For Any Political Principle I Hold

https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/p ... servative/
I don’t understand what conservatism has to do with saving your life. Hand to god, I don’t. What kind of faith are you keeping? What principle are you defending with your last functioning alveoli? I know liberals are supposed to be the ones who tailor their whole lives around their ideology, but there is no political principle I hold that I’m willing to trade adherence to it for breathing.

[...]

I hope [an unvaccinated sick guy] makes it, and I’m glad he has seen his way clear to taking the vaccine. And, sadly, that’s as far as I can go, for him and for everybody like him. It shouldn’t be, but it is. All right, as John Dos Passos wrote, we are two countries. But both of them have the same damn disease, which doesn’t care for whom you voted in 2020, or what your favorite television and radio pundits think they know about epidemiology. Liberals and conservatives both have to breathe.
