I think gay people would be offended that every time a super religious person spouts hateful nonsense, that a bunch of straight white males say "dude must be gay".
You think a lot of stuff.
Most of it is wrong.

yea the gay people I know are offended by hateful nonsense, but not by the allegations of projection. They know what's up.
I think it's something to do with being told from a young age that who they are is a sin. That'll really fuck with one's psyche.

Not every hateful religious nut is a closet homosexual.

i’d laugh, but it’s really no longer a laughing matter at this point
… On the Sunday after the Supreme Court reversed a decades-old ruling that legalized abortions in the U.S., Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert spoke to a crowd at a church in Colorado. Among other things, Boebert complained that faith communities have long had to deal with laws in the U.S. that they don't agree with.
"The church is supposed to direct the government," she said. "The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our founding fathers intended it. And I am tired of this separation of church and state junk. It's not in the Constitution."
Of course, the Constitution does explicitly ban the establishment of a specific religion. It's in the First Amendment...

If I was in that court room on trial I would have told the judge I'm requesting a new judge - the lord - and only the lord can judge me. How/what would she responded?

Re: More evidence that religious threads make you dum
Many years ago I got an anonymous letter from the neighborhood Karen. It involved an admission that they had climbed the fence into my backyard and looked in my garage and that if I did not do as they say they would report me to the City and that all of my neighbors were in agreement on this course of action.
I walked quietly too the back door and stood on my porch and screamed at the top oof my lungs, "fuck you and stay the fuck out of my backyard!". I had a couple of beers and went to bed.
The next morning, a Saturday, I walked around my entire block and knocked on the door of every neighbor, even the ones I had never met, and asked them if they wrote it and if they had indeed signed on board for this, cuz it says all of my neighbors agree with this letter. It threatens legal action, so I would be sending it to my lawyer Leawood, and he was not someone to fuck with. The look on every face was the same, shock and then pissed that they were implicated in the fuckery. The most often comment was "she shouldn't have written that." Not one said who "she" was. We all knew who she/Karen was, even the neighbors I didn't actually know. When I got to Karen's house last, she was visibly shaking when she opened the door and saw me. A couple of neighbors had warned her that I was looking for the author. I presented the letter and once again calmly asked the question of whether or not she wrote the letter and/or was she consulted to sign on to this. "Oh my gosh no, I would never do that. That's horrible" I just gave her a blank stare and said "OK goodbye, I WILL find out who wrote this". We both knew, and so too did every other neighbor on the block.
For the rest of the weekend I noticed the other neighbors giving her an earful for something, who knows what, because of course she wasn't responsible for the offensive letter. As long as they stay anonymous these shits are comfortable being assholes. Exposed to the rest of the neighborhood, and when told you aren't afraid of them or tolerant of their bullshit; they tend to crawl back under their rock and leave people alone. I never got another anonymous neighbor letter again. Nor did anyone else on the block to my knowledge.
