yea the gay people I know are offended by hateful nonsense, but not by the allegations of projection. They know what's up.

I think it's something to do with being told from a young age that who they are is a sin. That'll really fuck with one's psyche.

If I was in that court room on trial I would have told the judge I'm requesting a new judge - the lord - and only the lord can judge me. How/what would she responded?

Many years ago I got an anonymous letter from the neighborhood Karen. It involved an admission that they had climbed the fence into my backyard and looked in my garage and that if I did not do as they say they would report me to the City and that all of my neighbors were in agreement on this course of action.

The look on every face was the same, shock and then pissed that they were implicated in the fuckery. The most often comment was "she shouldn't have written that." Not one said who "she" was. We all knew who she/Karen was, even the neighbors I didn't actually know. When I got to Karen's house last, she was visibly shaking when she opened the door and saw me. A couple of neighbors had warned her that I was looking for the author. I presented the letter and once again calmly asked the question of whether or not she wrote the letter and/or was she consulted to sign on to this. "Oh my gosh no, I would never do that. That's horrible" I just gave her a blank stare and said "OK goodbye, I WILL find out who wrote this". We both knew, and so too did every other neighbor on the block.

For the rest of the weekend I noticed the other neighbors giving her an earful for something, who knows what, because of course she wasn't responsible for the offensive letter. As long as they stay anonymous these shits are comfortable being assholes. Exposed to the rest of the neighborhood, and when told you aren't afraid of them or tolerant of their bullshit; they tend to crawl back under their rock and leave people alone. I never got another anonymous neighbor letter again. Nor did anyone else on the block to my knowledge.
