I am salaried - and yet I have to fill out a time sheet. I am supposed to get paid extra for any time I work that exceeds over 9 hours a day of work.
Yesterday early dismissal from work for all employees.1:00pm. I worked until 4:00pm.
Today, PAID day off. National holiday. I am getting bombarded with work related emails that I am responding to.
Do I put in (add) 3 hours of overtime for yesterday, and do I put in (add) any extra hours for the time I worked on my day off today?
Sounds like questions you should ask your boss.

Incredible how a drunk girl talking about sex can get her 10 minutes of fame and become one of the most popular people in the social media world.
God bless her.

Yes.
Problem is when I ask my boss and the person in charge of payroll - I often get a..... They aren't sure what I should or shouldn't do.
It's more of a HR thing and unfortunately there isn't anyone in HR who is tenured and versed in regards to advising me what to do.
Upshot is I am NOT putting in overtime because I said many years ago - I don't want to get paid overtime for doing my job - just as I don't want pay deducted if and when I have down time and have non-work conversations with co-workers, or go to a doctor's appointment, or want to take a walk, or........

Would you rather Superman powers for 150 days in a row or Captain America powers for 10 years in a row?

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I have been with the company I work for - for 19 years.
Because of my job, I have met literally 1000s of people. Ranging from well known Politicians and foreign dignitaries, to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, to famous athletes, to Kayne West.
I tell people this was not one of the most interesting people I met but it is by far my favorite business card that I received.

Both. Having 12 kids is irresponsible. Hell, having more than 2 per lifetime couple is irresponsible.

I just trimmed my basil and I’m angry. It’s all bitter! I think a couple of the stems had flowered, so I expected them to be off, but the entire thing is! I’m assuming it’s the way way way too much rain we got early. Sigh.

This said, my oregano is great!

But I have a few San Marzano’s about ready, and I’m bummed I can’t use my basil for the bruschetta that’s coming soon. Love Wheatfields for this purpose!

Yeah my first batch are gonna be good. Most of my new flowers are burning in the heat. But I’ll get about 30 pieces from each plant to start. Hopeful they recover, but since it’ll be 93 degrees until October, I doubt it lol.

Maters don't grow well this far north. I bought 3 San Marzano plants. They look pretty anemic. I will probably get a dozen fruits this summer.
