I know TDub's math wasn't pdub's math but wtf?!?!
Unless TDub figured out which is my "local" 7/11 and called them to get the prices, I have no fricking clue how he was within pennies.
Credit to Dr.P for making the effort!
I don't recall what were the exact prices but I'm going to go with....
2 - 2.75 ounce (small) bags of potato chips = 2 for $5
1 - 3.5 ounce (small) bag of Pretzels = $2.99
1 - roll of Mentos strawberry flavor = $2.49
1 - 20oz bottle of Coke Zero = $2.50 being 2 for $5
1 - 20 oz bottle of Sprite Zero = $2.50 being 2 for $5
1 - Frozen 7/11 18oz cheese pizza (I have never bought nor eaten one) = $9.99
1 - 50oz bottle of water = $2.99
= $28.46
+ Tax = $31 and change.
About to eat the pizza right now. BAD idea! Trying to kill the taste with an abundance of onions and garlic.
Cheap ass me should have paid the $40 or so it would have cost me to get a GOOD pizza delivered.
I'm just that fucking good.

I guess so.
I didn't take the receipt so I don't know the exact breakdowns but I just looked at my credit card statement and the exact total was $31.66.
Now guess how much I spent at Target for the following items....
6.6oz bag of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Flavor Blasted Goldfish crackers.
5oz bag of Target brand Garlic/Parmesan Popcorn
7.5oz bag of Jay's O Ke Doke cheese Popcorn
22.3oz of Life Cereal
Half Gallon of Fat Free Milk
+ 6 plastic bags (city of Chicago "tax" for plastic "grocery" bags)

After your first venture on the Price is Right I was tempted to tell you to quit your day job.
$24.73 isn't a bad guess but it's not within $4.
6.6oz bag of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Flavor Blasted Goldfish crackers - $2.49
5oz bag of Target brand Garlic/Parmesan Popcorn - $2.99
7.5oz bag of Jay's O Ke Doke cheese Popcorn - $3.99
22.3oz of Life Cereal - $4.99
Half Gallon of Fat Free Milk - $3.99 (yep - a half gallon of milk costs $3.99 at my local Target these days)
+ 6 plastic bags (city of Chicago "tax" for plastic "grocery" bags) - 7 cents per bag = $0.42
Subtotal - $18.87
I am throughly confused in regards to the tax/es but the grand total was $19.29
Tomorrow is "healthy" food shopping day. Stay tuned.......

Shit happens.
To your well deserved credit, a couple of items were on sale.

remember when I donated a guided fishing trip and listed it as "best in July and August, no later than early September" and the dood insisted on the end of September instead, and the fishing sucked, and the bored was randomly in a fuss saying it was my fault for not more explicitly stating that "early September" was not meant to also include the latter half of September too?
Just got back from this year's trip.
Dude actually wanted to go in July!
And I'm not exaggerating when I say we must've netted 80 fish.
feels good to know I've still got it.
Anywho imma head over to the Crooked Creek Saloon and ride this momentum to hit on some cougar on vacation.
Nice!
That had to be fun. And in July!!!

Yes.
I understand your sentiment and I would probably think wtf if I was you but.....
The big difference for me is NOT wanting something and getting it and wanting something and getting it.

I liked your post and was happy for you until I read your last sentence and remembered when I used to hit on (I was tempted to say stalk but that has some really bad connotations) cougars on vacation. Well, more like kittens/cubs.
I hope your evening and early morning are/were as successful as you day.

some people, many people, great people...say it's one of the most amazing feats they've seen. How?..How do you do that, they say. It's incredible, these are...the best, talented, smart people and they tell me, many of them, tell me, TDub, this...this is just an incredible thing you're doing here....and what you've done also with the dinosaurs....have we talked about dinosaurs? I mean, what would you do if a dinosaur showed up and you were eating a cheeseburger, what if he asks for youre cheeseburger? Incredible things...its just a gift its what they say.
Also, I'm running for president now, Vote TDub or you're a loser....thats my motto.
