I had a roomie in college go from academic probation one year and the next to above a B average.

That was me to a T my first 2 years. Borderline academic probation, but then ended collegiate studies with a 3.2 cumulative.

it’s really not that uncommon

i started my Masters at KU on academic probation, but was quickly reinstated to good standing

In Harris's situation, it's probably not a good thing that his jersey number is a nod to his ACT score.
