I actually like Khan. Seems like a good dude and made an easy decision here.
Definitely not the first person that Urban has fooled into thinking he was a good guy.
He didn't hire him to be a good guy. He hired him to win games and no one has won games at a higher rate than Meyer in modern ncaa football. But yeah, he obviously ignored a lot of red flags from people who were pretty open and vocal about not believing that Meyer would work out in the NFL.
I think in professional sports you can be a big enough asshole that will keep you from winning. The arrogance it takes to think everyone should and would bow down to you and that you could get away with anything.
Agreed. I just don't think that very many billionaire owners of professional sports teams, many of whom are assholes in their own right, truly believe that it's that big a deal as they are likely personal friends with many people who are very successful in their fields who are also huge assholes. They may be the single least qualified people to assess that as a factor in a coaching hire.

I think Khan is a little different from most of the league owners, but I don't disagree.
He clearly does want to win and can afford to move on from a mistake like this.

Anyone know if tonight's Colts game is only on NFL network?

It is possible the Pats have been very lucky with the schedule and injured opponents until now

I agree with most things you say/post, I disagree with this post.
Why do you think/feel/believe Billionaires are the "least qualified" to assess a person's character and feel "many" of them are assholes?

You might be an asshole/bad person off the field but you cant on the field when you're coaching your first year in the NFL.

I would have loved to have seen Woody Hayes coach an NFL team.
Or Bobby Knight coach an NBA team.

Titans not very good right now. That last spot on the 4th down pissed me off, luckily still short. But man that was almost a yard too much.

That spot was horrible. I can't believe they didn't get a first down with that spot. My teenage son as was upset with it asking if they were even watching the play.

The Saints vs TB is another good game....in the sense that it is good to see TB losing.

I am sure that it would have been challenged and overturned if the Titans were given that first down.

Glad I was on my bye for the 1st round of my fantasy playoffs. Although now that I check, I am still projected to finish with more points than the other 5 teams that made our playoffs. Just a bad fantasy weekend outside of the Chiefs-Chargers match up.
