That's funny, I hope you track it down because it is going to haunt you until you do.

Back in my early 20s, I worked at a restaurant that had one of those "15 minutes from when you order or it's free" lunch specials. We would start a stopwatch and place it on the table. Once the staff figured out there were alarms on the stop watches, we started taking a few home with us, setting the alarms and then hiding them in co-worker's apartments so they would have an annoying alarm going off deep in their closets around 2am. Ah, the battles we got into. Fun memories.

Apple dabbles with foldable iPhone, eyes possible 2026 release: reports

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is apparently working on a foldable version of its iconic iPhone, and is eyeing a possible release as soon as 2026, according to reports.

The Cupertino-based company has reached out to suppliers in Asia regarding components for the new line of iPhones, according to The Information, which cited sources close to the developments.

The foldable iPhone, which would fold similarly to the Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) Galaxy Z Flip, goes by the code name V68, internally, the report said.

It would require a thinner iPhone than current models to account for the foldable design.
The pursuit of a foldable iPhone was first reported by Digitimes.

"Initially, it was speculated that Apple would first launch a foldable iPad to gauge market reaction and accumulate sales experience before introducing the technology to its primary product, the iPhone," according to Digitimes. "However, due to challenges encountered in the Chinese smartphone market, Apple has reportedly adjusted its plans and may introduce the iPhone as its first foldable product."

Apple ticked up 1% by noon trading Tuesday. The company is slated to release its earnings next week on Aug. 1, and it is estimated to report earnings per share of $1.33 on revenue of $84.07B.

That feeling you get when every hump day is bad day.

Is it just me and ousdahl, or, is everyone else mad at Illy for fashioning his life in such a way that he plays golf every Wednesday, too?

yea.

goofy pants and a fat ass.

if golf WAS a sport, then beaverfever wouldn't be able to be good at it.

and I'm not mad at illy, I don't begrudge anyone who can manage a good work/life balance.

or if I AM mad, it's cuz illy spends Wednesdays all gushered at the country club, while also giving me shit for things like work ethic.

Well, if it makes you feel better, bad weather prevented us from getting 27 holes in today. Only 21 holes.

I'm fine with classifying it as a game, rather than a sport.

Work ethic is (partly) what has allowed me to create this lifestyle for myself. Along with a little luck and a little right place right time.

Part of the luck is my 70 year old "boss" has golf league on Wednesday nights, so he usually is hanging with his buddies having beers before they start by mid afternoon most weeks. So it works perfectly for us.

Lightning took out our internets. Really close and it went down immediately and hard.

Thankfully, I can cast to my teevee.
