Probably the one Mrs 99 works at.
Yup, the news just confirmed it. She's on her way in for the night shift.

I'm getting a hotel room.
Be well. Stay safe.

At 70+ with high blood pressure and COPD, I'll be staying close to home.

I'm not particularly worried. It's a new wing. They have iso rooms with negative air pressure rooms. She's in another part of the hospital. So I should be good, right?

Yes, you (and she) should be good. Keeping fingers crossed.
In listening to people who have contracted the virus and are better/have recovered, it seems the most common initial sign is a high fever.
I'm wondering how many people with fevers are going to rush to the hospital. Once they get to the hospital/emergency room are they immediately isolated? I doubt it.
The fact that I believe 99% of the people in this country are not properly prepared in terms of actually knowing what they should do step by step if they think they may have the virus - is appalling to me.

Kansas City has 5 test kits for the virus.
Don't test, don't tell.

This thing is a brand new thing for the whole wide world. Why would you expect us to be properly prepared.

People with the flu: I’m just gonna stay home and rest until I feel better.

People with corona virus: I’m gonna go on a cruise and take international flights and visit China and check Italy off my bucket list and attend major sports games and ski in Colorado, what do you mean I should wash my hands?

This happened to me once:

Coronavirus quarantine hotel collapses, trapping 70 people

A hotel building in south-eastern China's Quanzhou city collapsed Saturday night, according to the city government statement. Several state media, including People’s Daily, confirmed the hotel has been used as coronavirus quarantine center.

Around 70 people were trapped in the building and 33 people have been rescued from the debris by 9:30 p.m. local time, the statement said.

FWIW my company, in a market driven entirely by tourism, hasn’t had a single guest even mention coronavirus, let alone ask to cancel a trip.

We have a fairly strict cancellation policy, and we’ve been asking management to confirm whether we’re supposed to remain firm about the policy or relax it if a guest expresses concerns.

Management has been floundering about a response.

It’s almost as if someone wants to intentionally limit tests as some self-serving means of keeping numbers artificially low...

She's in home isolation so nothing the rest of us have to worry about.

Update to the arrival of coronavirus to Omaha...

Apparently the lady who tested positive for coronavirus attended a Special Olympics basketball event in Fremont, NE prior to going to the emergency room. Attendees, including a few kids from my oldest child's high school, have been asked to self quarantine for the next 2 weeks. Fremont schools have been closed for the next 2 weeks.

Freaking great.
