JFC.

So. Much. DUMB.

Sounds like you don't know many small business "CEOs".

he likes theatrics and hysteria, grand swooping statements of "change" and superior morality without substance.

He probably loves Alexander Hamilton.

I just wonder what he does all day other than post here. Like for work. Because he sure has a lot of free time for someone who works so hard only to be held down by the various "boogeymen" of the world.

If the people were livestock on a farm, we would make sure the males were castrated. Then they are less assholey and easier to manage. Also more tender to eat. But definitely less assholeism.

actually, I've almost commented before that your guys's giddy insistence on militant escalation and refusal to negotiate kinda reeks of toxic masculinity in the...uh, certain other thread.

Dr. P nailed it.

I wonder if we'd still have so many wars if we also had more female world leaders.

Heck, in the context of this thread and in a discussion about capitalism, I wonder if we'd still have so many wars if our planet's resources weren't allocated in such a "competition" based way...

or was that Q volunteering to go stand first in line for castration?

Nevermind....he'd have to get out and do something to stand in line.

I shared an example of an effective technique used in the realm of livestock. I didn't take it further and point out that only one adult male was needed. What an uproar that would have caused.

it's a myth. Age has more to do with tenderness than any sort of castration. Bull meat is darker and less pink/red that we associate with beef but the tenderness is comparable.

We typically don't eat bull meat because they arent slaughtered, the bulls are kept because they are more valuable on the hoof to continue to sire sellable offspring. When the bulls are at retirement age they arent slaughtered because they're old and therefore not as tender as the steers that are butchered at 1-3 years.

But, just realize, espousing the virtues of a community garden is an anecdote completely at odds with your determination to otherwise double down on capitalist systems.
Just realize that your lack of understanding of capitalism is only surpassed by your lack of understanding of socialism/communism.

Do yourself a favor. Come down off the fence and decide what you want to be and try to be it.

If you want to be a socialist or really believe in it, sell your truck and your fishing equipment and join a commune and live a communal life. Bring your check home every two weeks and deposit it in the community account and use only what you need.

Or if you want to see how capitalism works and figure out how to do it "right", then open that bait shop you always talk about and be an entrepreneur. Hire a few people and pay them a living wage and provide healthcare for them.

Either or these is so much easier and less risky while you are young and single. Commit to something and work at it.

Don't do it to prove anything to anyone other than yourself. All of this message board ranting is just bullshit bar stool philosophy unless you get out there and put it to the test. Theories are all well and good, but it takes real life experiments to prove or disprove them.

wow dude, I can't believe you would call me a bait fisherman.

for real tho, if you really think I'm so lacking in understanding here, please help me better understand.

Otherwise, that kinda just comes across as condescending, especially when your own understanding of socialism is apparently little more than "sell my truck."

Are you familiar with anywhere I could pursue some commune or communal life? I would seriously consider it. I mean, heck, that's not necessarily unrelated to my interest in acreage in the Empire!

btw, can I ask again: what sort of terms were you referring to when you said "when the world looks for a country to lead the way forward in a crisis they still look to the U.S." ? Could you help me better understand that one too? I don't doubt it, I just want to understand. And, yea, I admittedly am kinda down on Merica lately, so a little good news about the republic would be good to hear.

this is little more than an act.

If you were truly interested in what you speak about you would go find the information available, research where you could go, how you could be involved etc. Quit asking everyone else to educate you on every single subject in life and go do something.
