Well he also comes into contact with 1000x more people than most of us, so it was only a matter of time. Even the best tests out there have a false negative rate that lets people slip thru the cracks. Not to mention unless they test them on the spot each day it doesn't do much good to be negative a day or 2 before their contact.

Anyone that lives in a populous city is in contact with way more people. Trump keeps a bubble at all times.

I am not that worried about him dying...tbh i think it will be much worse if he has mild symptoms and then tells everyone how it isn’t bad at all.

I golf with a dude who got it from a kid he trains for baseball.....said had he not been tested he would have never known. No symptoms at all.

And, Trump has infinite resources at his own disposal. He could have taken every precaution, but he didn’t.

This is the ironic, or maybe not so ironic but just inevitable, result of downplaying the risks every step of the way.

He's not on a rope line. He's on a stage 30-50 feet from the closest person.

Anyone in that crowd is in contact with 1000x more people. Anyone who goes to any event, concert, sporting event, etc. is in contact with 1000x more people. The president has a lot of meaningful contact with people, but he's in a bubble at all time.

Anyway, no one is calling everyone who contracted SARS-CoV-2 a dumbass. Just the ones who contracted them through dumbass behavior. Examples would be bikers at Sturgis, springbreakers in Florida, Herman Cain, and now some if not the entire WH staff.
