I think, when people mock and scorn Trump for contracting the virus, it's not so much mock and scorn over he, himself, contracting the virus.

It's the bad faith, willful negligence and dereliction of duty as the country's supposed chief executive in addressing the virus on a national basis.

For me, it's not schadenfreude, as I'd rather not let him get out this easy. But it is karma for sure, which I always appreciate cosmic jokes.

I know of people who have similar bodies (and similar age) to Trump that got covid and they showed little or no symptoms. Considering how energetic he is, I don't think he's likely to become severely ill.

The fuck does this matter for? Plenty of energetic, healthy young people (AND KIDS!) have been far more energetic and died than the junk food eating, soda pop drinking, thumb typing on his iPhone 74 year old TV addict that happens to be medically declared obese by health standards.

I think the "energetic" aspect is that he can stand still for 75 minutes and rant, because other than walking to and from AF1 and Marine One, have we ever seen him do anything "energetic?"

We should also remember that there have been rumors of Trump on amphetamines for decades, which also increases hypertension, and deceases sleep, both further complicating factors.

Oh I highly disagree with this. Did Trump get COVID based on his only narcissism and inaction to own the libs. Absolutely. But he could've got COVID any time in the last six months and that would be true.

Did he get COVID, (based on reporting from early contract tracing), from a party to jam through a SC Justice, 32 days before the election, and on one of the worst weeks of his campaign, because of Karma? Undoubtable.

It shows you are doing something right in your life because your heart is not full of resentment and rage. I feel sorry for him that he is trying to take on the responsibility at a time when he is so unfit for it. Then again, the left isn't really counting on him lasting and that's the whole point of having Harris (by far, the worst option of 2020). But realistically, Biden's chances are not good. People don't elect people who have no enthusiasm going for them. Remember John Kerry?

You're at very, very little risk if you, and everyone you interact with, follows some very simple guidelines.
