Really? It just kinda reads like people are concerned, interested and uncertain asto what is going on.
Dumbfuck in charge
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Biden pulls all negative ads. Trump allows this to go out.

Hard to say imo.NiceDC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 4:31 pmI mean, Trump doesn't seem like "I'll go spend a few days at the hospital just to be sure" kind of guy. This seems like, "we might need to put this guy on a ventilator, and we just did the carpets in the residency" kind of hospital stay.
And like I said before, would be really nice to know if we have a dying president, or just some sniffles. We need some pressers with the docs.
It may also be to monitor his reaction to the experimental treatment he received.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Agreed, it would be nice to have some more info, although no one trusts the majority of the info they provide so not sure how much difference it makes. Still, an attempt would be wise.NiceDC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 4:31 pmI mean, Trump doesn't seem like "I'll go spend a few days at the hospital just to be sure" kind of guy. Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Many people weren't going to listen regardless. We had a coorindated shutdown in my state, and it definitely helped....but it didn't reduce cases to zero. It just slowed the spread. And even then many people were not willing to drastically change their way of life because of a virus that they don't think will kill them (which is right and wrong all at the same time).
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
A shutdown where only a portion of the population participates is by definition a slowdown instead of an actual shutdown.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:25 pmMany people weren't going to listen regardless. Re: Dumbfuck in charge
In all fairness, they were being labeled idiots who are dragging this country down by many on the left long before covid19 existed. Let's be real.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
But many people would. We don't need 100% compliance, we need the slider to move higher, not lower. Politicizing mask killed tens of thousands. Not putting a national mandate probably killed over 100k.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:25 pmMany people weren't going to listen regardless. Cops should have been arresting people who still wanted to have house parties and were socializing in groups? Where would we put all those people.
There is/was no way to reduce the spread to zero, short of EVERYONE locking themselves in their house for a month or 2. I was down for it. But probably 25% of our population wasn't. That is their choice unfortunately. The virus isn't "deadly enough" for those people to be bothered. I disagree with them, but there is really no good way to force that many people to lock themselves away in their houses.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
This is what i sort of hate about how certain things are reported....
An "official speaking anonymously" says something and it is wrong. They just announced earlier today that everyone is required to wear masks outside of their offices in the white house. So that official was apparently not very informed or simply wanted to rush out an attention grabbing headline to create outrage about the white house response.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
My point is that the stance taken by Trump undermined the efforts taken by individual states to the point where they were not nearly as effective as they could have been if Trump behaved like a true leader who was actually interested in behaving as if he was President.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:35 pmAnd what is your point?twocoach wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:28 pmA shutdown where only a portion of the population participates is by definition a slowdown instead of an actual shutdown.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:25 pm

Agreed that the goal of zero would be near impossible but this could have been done way better with an a rural leader who wanted to lead instead just wanting to get reelected.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I think it is mandated in my state and people still don't listen.NiceDC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:28 pmBut many people would. People just don't care. Did trump help the situation? Fuck no, but i am not convinced all these people are just following his lead. Hell, many of the people/businesses i know not following mask rules or social distancing guidelines absolutely hate trump.
It sucks and i disagree with their choices. But welcome to our country, where people have a lot of freedom.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Seems like he isn't in nearly as bad of shape as CNN has been speculating about for the last several hours...
Personally, i think he would be crazy NOT to go to walter reed to be monitored. Especially on some experimental treatment that less than 250 people have taken.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I think it’s crazy for potus to be taking experimental treatments, but what do I know
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Sees 15 seconds of produced Twitter video, declares clean bill of health. Full Illy achieved.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Haha i didn't say that at all....but is that all that much different than CNN speculating about his condition rapidly declining and talking about potentially going on a ventilator because first someone used the words "mild symptoms" and then later said he had a fever?
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I heard about a safe treatment that has been around since the early 1800s. No need for experimental treatment. I think Trump should try sodium hypochlorite. Some very famous doctors are talking about it.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Or maybe get some clorox wipes and have his lungs wiped down.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Been following this guy since midnight, seems to be knowledgeable, but cannot vouch for him specifically. But been giving a lot of analyst of the situation.
