interesting enough this just happened to me...but reversed and with a big wood bed frame and headboard.

It was given to us (i think mainly because they didn't want to move it...so...kind of as a favor)....

we ended up hating it as it takes up so much damn space...so....we asked them if they wanted it back (they didnt). Then...I sold it for 550....and sent then 300. Even though I had to do all the work of disassembling it, hauling it out of the house, loading it in a truck, delivering it to the new person, and unloading it.


Because.....we'd only had it a month and it didn't feel right to sell it and keep it all.




I see both sides though. Im your scenario, I dont think I'd be too upset if it happened to me, I wouldn't argue or start a fight over it....but I would be a little...non plussed.

Yea, for sure, no fights, no arguments, more just, huh, that's not what I woulda done.

Booked flights to a relatives wedding across the country. Said no kids at ceremony or reception. But there'd be a sitter provided off site. OK. Cool. We'll come ( this includes bro/sister in law and their kid ).

Learn this weekend, scratch that, no sitter, sorry, we don't know of any either.

How acceptable would it be to have the blood relatives ( two lady cousins ) go and for the dads and kids to cancel and sit this one out?

in my immediate family such a thing would be totally acceptable…my extended family not so much
