I'm curious if there has been a tournament where a conference sent 7 (or more) teams and ALL 7 (or more) teams were higher seeds than their first round opponents.
7-0 or not, that's a heck of an accomplishment too.

Missouri played as well against a depleted Big XII lower tier team as it could. Several play hard trophies in the station wagon. And drive through Chuckie Cheese.

Martin had a pretty good and experienced team this year. How bad are we going to beat them next season?

UNC getting their ass pounded was surprising to me.

Are you assuming it's pretty much the same thing I would have done if I responded to those who are dissing Tony Bennet by asking how many tournament wins and National Championships Self has had the past 3 tournaments?

Just for the sake of playing devil's advocate.....
We very well would have had a nice tourney run last year - but it's possible we could have pulled a 2018 Virginia.

I'm assuming Self gets at least another W in this tournament. My hope is he gets 5 more.
Whatever he gets or doesn't get, I will happily say I feel Self > Bennett and thank God we never lost to a 16 as a 1.
But..... Like Bennett and UVA, we did lose as a 4 to a 13 (and as a 3 to a 14) under Self.

On another note.....
Congrats to former KU teammates Tad Boyle and Mark Turgeon. Doubtful but potential Elite 8 matchup.

Texas thinks they're playing K-State.

Texas in a dogfight they should be winning by a bunch
