I just watched post game interview with Self.

He is NOT happy about start time. You could see him muttering ‘motherfuckers’ or something of the like after answering question about start time and processing what it might mean/do.

NCAA accidentally made KU go west and play a team that runs 40 minutes of Hell floor stuff. And then accidentally schedule no rest. They love us. Otis Day and the Bobby Knights.

Accidentally. Nothing to do with them hating Self.

Since everything's against us, I'm starting think that maybe we're going to win this one. This year we've lost to teams we should beat and beat teams we should lose to. Since we narrowly escaped losing to a team we should beat, we should beat a team we should lose to with a little extra to spare.

KU is officially in "nothing to lose" mode now. If they win, that's awesome. Gonzaga seems like a pretty good matchup for KU overall so I wouldn't actually be stunned if KU beat them. They only attempt 2 more threes a game than KU and only hit them about 2% better than KU. Weirder shit has happened, who knows.

They are big. That's concerning with KM out. Kj will have to work hard for his points.

Going to need another 20/20 game from Diamond Dickinson.

I hope the adrenaline doesn’t wear off 8 minutes in and our offense goes to sleep because we have no legs to get to space or make shots. Oh wait.
