It's called discussion about all possibilities, which is a perfectly reasonable conversation to be having. Maybe your radar is just tuned a little too sensitive...IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 5:54 pmHaha i didn't say that at all....but is that all that much different than CNN speculating about his condition rapidly declining and talking about potentially going on a ventilator because first someone used the words "mild symptoms" and then later said he had a fever?
Yeah, was listening to the CNN reporting on this. Three sources giving differing opinions, but they were most concerned about how he was going south quickly. Again, would be very helpful, for Americans, and our allies, to have his doctor answer questions. This is literally the most important health issue since Hinckley got horny for Foster, and we don't even know if Pence needs to be on call right now.
Spare me the BS. In my opinion CNN was/is sensationalizing the situation to create "exciting" television.twocoach wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:23 pmIt's called discussion about all possibilities, which is a perfectly reasonable conversation to be having. Yes. And because there is a presidential suite. And because he took an experimental drug. And because there aren't imaging machines in the WH "hospital". And because he is a 74 year old president. A small % of people who contract covid end up in the ICU. He certainly could, but only time will tell.
Um, it IS very alarming when the President is taken to the hospital after contracting a virus that has killed more than 200,000. You are ASSuming that is why he is being taken there. Trump has not exactly been forthcoming or truthful about much of anything, which.leads to speculation.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:50 pmSpare me the BS. They weren't just discussing possibilities. They were using terms like "it is very alarming" and saying things like "it appears his condition may be rapidly declining" with no real legitimate reason to believe that since up until that video there have been only a few sentences worth of info released throughout the day... hell look at the tweets above from acosta etc. LOL... Melania is younger, in better health, and isn't showing symptoms from anything i have seen, so of course his condition is "worse" than hers.
He is the president. Of course they are going to monitor him at the hospital. He is 74 years old and in shitty shape. I would want to be monitored at a hospital too just to be safe.
And to be fair, fox has been doing the exact opposite, but still agenda driven TV....talking about how tough he is (as if that matters when battling a virus that is deadly for many people his age)...and that he is just going there to "work" and out of an abundance of caution. Total bullshit. "He is such a hard worker he is going to the hospital to work out of a few offices there".
The White House has clinical facilities. But no ICU. He is failing rapidly enough that time likely matters. Probably a high fever.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:58 pmYes. Maybe he is going there because they have one of those sunlight infusion machines he was talking about?
It is not alarming (to me) that he is going to the hospital. He has covid19. He took an experimental drug. He is 74 years old. But your mostly just being oversensitive.
I do have a problem with how Blitzer steps over the top of speakers to give "breaking news" that is really just a description of what we are seeing on TV but then I remember that they stream his show onto XM Radio and he's just describing it to that audience since they cannot see it.
Or imaging machines which would be necessary to monitor him.Sparko wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:04 pmThe White House has clinical facilities. One person is a "small portion" so you are no doubt technically right. CNN is covering a major news event. If their coverage annoys you then watch a different channel, good grief.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:12 pm Tbh, i think there is at least a small portion of the country that hopes he dies...CNN is going to make sure they are glued to their TVs watching "breaking news" every 5min.
This is literally, other than 9/11, the most impactful executive branch moment of this country since Reagan was shot. But tell me how CNN focusing on the sensationalism.twocoach wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:21 pmOne person is a "small portion" so you are no doubt technically right. CNN is covering a major news event. Oh, and you and Lobster are the ones who are touting this "some people want him dead" shtick. It's lame. Just projecting the feelings of a tiny end of the looney spectrum as the feelings of a much larger volume of people.

I have told you how they are focusing on sensationalism. By speculating about his rapidly declining condition when he may just have a fever and fatigue. It is ridiculous.NiceDC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:28 pmThis is literally, other than 9/11, the most impactful executive branch moment of this country since Reagan was shot.
