What is the purpose of musical theater?
Or any entertainment really?
Why do we even breathe to exist every day?

I have seen a few news stories around the nc power station destruction. The drag show angle was not mentioned.
what exactly is a drag show. and what is the purpose of the drag show.
The folks loved it when Milton Berle did it.

Mich, a drag show is just when all the Vin Diesel types get together to race their muscle cars and hot rods and such.
There’s a lot of machismo involved. You’d like it. So if you ever see ads for a drag show, you should go, and treat yourself to some high-octane excitement.

All of William Shakespeare's plays were originally written as drag shows.
Re: More evidence that religious threads make you dum
One of the leading protesters, Emily Grace Rainey, claimed on social media that sheriff's deputies questioned her about the outages after she posted that she knew why it had occurred, WRAL reported Sunday morning.
"I told them that God works in mysterious ways and is responsible for the outage," Rainey, who rose to local prominence protesting COVID-19 restrictions, wrote on Facebook. "I used the opportunity to tell them about the immoral drag show and the blasphemies screamed by its supporters."
In 2021, Rainey also resigned from her position as a psychological operations officer in the Army, after the Army investigated her for leading a group of people from Moore County to the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol, CBS News previously reported.
Fields said his office was looking into a possible connection to the drag show but added it had "not been able to tie anything back to the drag show."
"We had to go interview this young lady and have a word of prayer with her, but it turned out to be nothing," he said in a reference to Rainey's Facebook post.
why do I get the feeling that if the folks claiming they knew why it had occurred on social media were, say, Muslim, the sheriff wouldn't exactly just have a word of prayer with them about it and dismiss the rest.

Once again, this becomes appropriate:
“It doesn’t mean your gay, but maybe….just don’t get married”

so you made up the whole drag show angle just so you could draw attention to yourself. that's a shocker for sure.

tell it to the religious folk.
I try to avoid them.
I think about religious folk about the same as others. Do whatever you want, think whatever you want. Don't try to force me to think or believe what you do, dont shove it in my face everytime and to everyone youre around and dont make it the topic of every conversation and the basis of your identity.
basic rules of existence. If everyone followed them we would all be better off.

almost never in my real, adult life has anyone ever tried to impose their religious beliefs on me.
i cannot imagine where you people are in your day to day, where others are ramming their religious beliefs down others throats. it just doesn't happen in my real life. and if it did, i would just turn around and walk away. easy peasy.

Mormons have shown up at my door multiple times in my life.
pastors have cornered me at events.
people in general conversations have told me how much greater life would be id I "let Jesus into my heart"
in not saying it happens daily, but once is too often.

I admit, I do proselytize to DC every couple of months about how much better his life would be if he accepted weed and shrooms as his personal savior. He knows it is true, but the fear that his self loathing will take over and cause a bad trip has so far kept him from divine redemption. We will begin construction of a religious grow tabernacle in the Church of St Stevieboy after the first of the year when such things are legal in Colorado. So just keep that in mind DC.
