So....what happens in your socialist utopia again?
I think you’re confusing a socialist economic model with an authoritarian government model.

Or sumptin.
Yes. It cant be that your socialist utopia dreamt up with a unemployed wookie while rolling through a DMT thunderstorm is flawed in practice.
Actually bro, she’s got a good job as a graphic designer for the corporate office of some dispensary chain. Career girl with the hookup on herb, she’s kind of a catch.

Don’t tell CnB tho, cuz next thing you know he’ll want sloppy seconds

“Yeah sure we destroyed the planet, but for a beautiful moment in time, we created a lot of wealth for shareholders.”

If they do do anything to address the environmental crisis, it’s usually just some token bullshit that achieves little more than good PR

And go figure they lecture us average joes about how it’s our own personal responsibility to not use straws.
Huh? Ever heard of China? Communist nations are far worse for the environment. They don't have to be environmentally conscientious because there is no competition, and there's no reason to regulate emissions unless the person in charge cares more about the environment than the economy (and they never do).

That's wild.

Perhaps I shouldn’t attribute the concept of infinite growth and consumption exclusively to capitalism.

But at the same time, it just seems capitalism embodies those things to a fault.

Too much emphasis is put only on shareholder wealth, and too little on pretty much everything else

Yea for real.

Makes me long for the days when all this was just the occasional bump in the Petri dish thread.

I tried reading that and gave up after the 9th consecutive pop up ad. How do people wade through that crap to read anything.

Beav was down in Denver yesterday and said he stopped by a store to get a pair of pants. He walked in and they asked him to mask up. He walked out.

He says he already got poked, what more is he supposed to do, so if any bidness wants him to mask then he refuses to give them his bidness.

I guess I dunno why it’s such a big deal

Or why it’s such an insult to one’s personal freedom.

Shrug

Read the rest of the thread. It devolved into a profane, hateful, blame-filled rant.

Solves nothing; makes nothing better; serves no purpose other than virtue signaling. Then again, that’s pretty much Twitter in a nutshell.
