Really hope that CEH can be back for the playoffs.
The splits could mean a groin injury.

Picking up Bell looks even better now. That was a tough win. The defense played well. In spite of the injury issues this team looks good going down the home stretch.

As far CEH the best you can hope for is a ankle injury. He could get at least four weeks to rest and heal. If not, that’s why Veach went out and got Bell. If I’m Bell this is my time to shine, get a ring and maybe get one last pay day.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The only way the Chiefs lose is if they beat themselves.

I'm not sure what's wrong with some of you. There are other good teams in the NFL. The Saints are the either the 2nd, 3rd or 4th best team in the NFL and the Chiefs just beat them on the road. That's impressive. KC isn't going to boat race every team just because Mahomes is a really good.

Not mention without your starting, all pro LT, your RT clearly not 100% and both of your starting guards.
For the most part I thought the defense played well. HB, looked a step slow today and that last possession it looked the defense was gassed and again got quick snapped.

X-rays came back negative on CEH but they are still evaluating. I’m just going to take the good news for now. No need to see him again until the playoffs.

I'm not sure what your point is. If it is a one game winner take all playoff, at this juncture who would you pick over the Chiefs?

Yeah; mostly we have all been fearful that KC has been knife’s edge to losing. First team in history to win six in a row by so few points.

Lotta stoopid mistakes. When we get it right though, we're tough to beat.

I think a lot of those mistakes ( beyond Robinson at the end of the first half ) were because New Orleans defense is so good and our O-Line ailing.
Mahomes is the best in the world but he was getting swarmed - and to be honest, got fortunate on a couple of his throws/fumbles.
Saints with a healthier Brees and Michael Thomas is a top 4 team in the NFL.

Good luck, Saints going to GB potentially in the winter with a noodle arm, washed former version of himself.

And that's why they wanted this win so bad. And it's what I pointed out when it was known that Brees was going to play. They know they can't go outside in January in cold conditions. It's going to be rough for them.

GB in January is a cruel joke.

Which makes you wonder why the Saints paid all that money for a utility player who apparently they couldn't trust to play QB? Seems like the Saints would have been better served trying to run the ball with Tebow, I mean Hill and Kamara rather than trot out a guy who clearly looked off. Brees isn't the player he once was but yesterday at times it was almost laughable how bad he looked. I wonder if Winston being out didn't change their decision.

CEH high ankle sprain.
Usually 3-4 week injury.
Hopefully back at the start of the playoffs.
Of which - the picture is starting to shape.
Indy and Browns both play v PIT.
Tennessee v Green Bay.
We'd play the 4, 5 ( currently Ten v Cle ) - but i'd rather the Titans jump to 3 or fall to 6.
Give me Indy or Cleveland first round.

The dreaded high ankle sprain but all things considered that is the best case scenario. My guess is he would be ready for the playoffs with four weeks off. (as long as the Chiefs take care of business and get the bye)
The Chiefs would absolutely boat race Cleveland. Indy, still gives me an uneasy feeling. Houston, with something extra to play for plus they have an offensive line that can run the ball, control clock and a very good defense. The outlier would be that if they get behind to the Chiefs we all know that Rivers will become the Rivers of old and start forcing plays turning over the ball.

Do they reseed after first round or does KC get winner of 4/5 regardless?

Someone get Kirk Hinrich on the phone. He recovered from a high ankle sprain in 48 hours!

Great question.
The bracket I saw had 1 seed v 4/5 no matter what.
Could be wrong though.

We took care of Tennessee last season - but they a bit better this year.
Indy has a better defense but Mahomes can handle the best of them - and Indy's isn't the best.
It's more, can Phillip Rivers lead a team in Arrowhead?
