Right?
The game this morning ( Vancouver v Chicago ) I think decides who we play.
Pulling for a Chicago tie or loss - I don't think I want to see Seattle.

So we get Vancouver.
And the game is on FS1.
BUT the game starts at 11 PM on a Sunday night?
Sorry Wizards - i'll have to check the highlights in the morning.

Can't ride on 5 hours anymore.

They are only using 2 fields, right? They would need 3 hour blocks per match as there's no ties. 8 matches on 2 fields mean 12 hours per field.

Good offense early, 12 shots, about 4 on goal. Need to get something tho.

22 shots in the first half and nothing to show for it.

WC Keeper down, and they don't have a back up keeper. This could be crazy.

Going to PKs. Hate PKs.

Never seen such a dominate performance in regulation go nil-nil. And absolute domination in PKs, never in a doubt. Worth staying up.

Watched just now.
Was pretty frustrating to have so many more chances than the other team and not win in regulation.
Melia just owned those penalties.

Probably should've got the second PK too, but read it too well.
That WC keeper kid going to get a starting gig somewhere soon though. For a young third-stringer, he really stepped up. I was hoping to see a position player back there tho. Survive and advance.

He had some good reaction saves.
Was fortunate on a few bounces.
But if he was on another team not facing the Wizards, i'd have been cheering for him.
He looked like the actor who played Tom Hanks best friend in Big ( also in Honey I Shrunk the Kids as the neighbor boy ).
Also Pulido owned him pretty hard with the first penalty.
