But regarding playoffs, yeah you want to avoid Tennessee at all costs. They could easily fall to 6 seed too.

I just completed the ESPN Playoff Machine with my predictions, which means it won't happen but still fun..
AFC:
1. Chiefs
2. Buffalo
3. Indy
4. Pittsburgh
5. Cleveland
6. Titans
7. Ravens

Miami the only team to be close.

NFC:
1. Packers
2. Saints
3. Seattle
4. Washington
5. Tampa
6. Rams
7. Arizona

Minnesota just misses WC and Washington gets East tiebreaker over Dallas.

Great question.
The bracket I saw had 1 seed v 4/5 no matter what.
Could be wrong though.
See, I thought I saw it's the lowest seed at the 1 seed no matter who makes it. But I truly don't know.

Yeah just looked at it. 1 seed gets lowest remaining seed. They've never done a true bracket, so if all remains chalk, they'll get the 4 seed. But there is always an upset especially with the AFC so loaded, so they'll likely get a 5, 6, or 7 seed.

This Chiefs game is why you don't rest your starters before the playoffs. With constantly changing OL lineups due to injury, the Chiefs have been out of synch on offense for several games now. They need all the reps they can get to get the machine humming again.

What the Chiefs need to do is start every season 9-0 and then forfeit the next 7 games in order to rest players and make sure they don't get hurt.

9-7 will get them the #7 seed and Mahomes will win more SUPER BOWLS!!!!

Chiefs defense has played well. One scoring drive thanks to a missed tackle by Sorenson (the case too often) but other than that they are holding an average Atlanta offense to well below average production.

They are on track to get a first round bye so they don't need another week off. Hopefully they make some Bill Self caliber halftime adjustments and come out swinging in the 2nd half. No one for Atlanta can handle Kelce. He should get a lot of balls thrown his way after halftime. Get him all his records and get the win.

On the Watkins INT?

I agree, if Mahomes was a WR on that play I think they call PI or Holding

Ridiculously careless throw. That had zero chance to get through there.

Very generic offense for KC. Still should have scored 10 more points. Some frankly bad play calls

Maybe the worst PI call in history there as Hurst threw Sorenson to the ground

Atlanta getting pressure on our OLine with even 3 guys. We are playing some boring football.

Do the Chiefs know the score of the Pit game?

Ryan has outplayed Mahomes today, which is a serious problem. Would this be Mahomes' lowest rated game ever?

Chiefs have basically run mid-long routes against deep cover. The shorter routes are there. Not sure why they are sleep-walking. Schottenheimer feel today
