I like what I have heard of them.

Next they will probably claim their name doesn't derive from Gretna VanFleet.
Well, ok, they already stated it does.

Whatever their sound is comparable to, I give them credit for doing what they enjoy doing, doing it well, and making a nice living doing it.

They are very good.
Just grumpy pdub wants artists to give credit where its due.
It's fine you all are emulating a world class band...just admit it.

Worked with a guy from Long Beach whose dad partied hard with Brad. Lots of stories.

I have seen them 4 times. While not bad by any means, last night was by far the worst of the 4 performances.

I have mixed feelings on this.

Looking back, when I was a kid I thought I would grow up to be some version of Daria’s parents.

Turns out, I’m still Daria.

Actually I'll go with 2000.....i did enjoy seeing Britney and Christina on repeat for a couple years.

I think it was the growing popularity of The Real World, and the decision to make
MTV less about music (and wise-beyond-their-years cartoons) and more about goofy reality tv.

Or something.

We lost Headbanger’s Ball and got Jersey Shore.

MTV started when I was 20 years old. I hated it from the start. I still say some of the worst music ever recorded ended up playing on MTV on constant replay. I thank Geebus that disco was dead when MTV started.

For real tho, dunno how you can appreciate Beavis and Butthead as wise beyond their years, but not like Daria.

It’s almost the same show. Heck, Daria started as a character on Beavis and Butthead!

I hated beavis and butthead. So goddamn dumb.

And no, didnt peak in high school. Probably peaked at about 30 or 31. More of a slow uphill rise then back down....barely noticeable.
