They have a lasting reputation at stake. Tapper on CNN called out Fox this morning ...
It's more than a lasting reputation. They've squeezed Trump for all he's worth, and his most likely next step is to compete with Fox. Time to distance, and align with the non-Trump part of the right.
Or stall until the vacuum is filled by the next 'Pub looking to take up the mantle to lead Trump's FoxNews-consuming base.
Honestly, Trump isnt done milking those people of their money by a long shot. He'll sell them shit for years while continuing to peddle his victim-of-the-Deep-State persona.
Of course - the only actually-successful thing he's ever done is media/entertainment.

I don't think FOX News will call the election though because of the pending lawsuits.
I might be wrong - and hope i'm pleasantly surprised - but that's how you keep your viewers glued - give them a map with those states with another color or icon representing 'contested'.
I think it will depend on which show you are watching to an extent. I was surprised they were giving Biden states before CNN was.

After just hearing from a very reliable source - I predict the election will not "officially" be decided until in to December. I really hope he and I am wrong.
I already told you, December 15th.
Technically you're 100% correct.
I figure that's assuming all the "law suits" are over and have been ruled upon.

Where are Lobby and MICH?
Probabky masturbating to QaNon conspiracy videos of people being "caught" moving box of votes (AKA camera equipment) into voting centers.

Maricopa about to release 60,000 ballot tallies. But either have or will have 140,000 to go.
Something about the desert makes it hard to count, I guess (Nevada).

It should not be lost in all the crap flinging: there was extensive fraud in this election. By Trump. My God, the postal service sabotage alone was immediately impeachable. Then there were willful fraudulent statements to disenfranchise Americans. And injunctions with partisan courts which changed the rules late in the process.

It will be interesting to see how many ballots they find in various USPS sorting facilities yet to be delivered to the appropriate locations. I hope it's zero but I doubt that is the case.

The gap is shrinking in Arizona. But Trumps margin is not as big as what he needs it to be.

Trump gained a small amount of ground, but not on a trendline suggesting he can top Biden (or come especially close).

60k is not a small number. I think there's still some from Pima to be counted, too.

I think the door is officially closed on Arizona for Trump.

Since it's going to go into December with no declared winner (recounts, fraud investigations, etc.), I will graciously take a vacation until Trump is declared winner. We all know (or at least, the honest ones) that Biden could not have won legitimately. Anyway, I'll see you all in about 5 weeks or so.

Biden going to talk tonight primetime. I would imagine that he will declare himself the winner. Probably going to be a speech that is going to be focused on uniting the country.
