Pac over AAC. To play a USC, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, UCLA, Arizona consistently is way better than Memphis, Tulsa and East Carolina.
^^^^
very true, but still the worst of the 4 imo
actually, for me it’d be toss-up b/t PAC and SEC if both were to come knocking

If we get left out of said 'super conference', it could be a blessing in disguise.

SEC has football money

i don’t think KU fits culturally with either, honestly
but if i HAD to pick one based on culture it’d be PAC

Culture could very well be a thing of the past in college athletics.

Easy to say when SEC isn't in the least bit interested. Feels like a defense mechanism.
If it is only about academics (LOL) then sure PAC all day.
If it's anything sports related then it's SEC and it's not even close.
Better basketball? LOL

If we are choosing between PAC and SEC, we are past the "great cultural fit" already.
SEC is just the last place KU would ever fit into. The South and the whole "football over everything, including morals," that ain't KU.

It sucks, right?
I choose not to live my personal life that way. Passed up multiple jobs offers or promotions because I'd rather make less money and work less so i can enjoy the good things about life (family and golf mostly).

On the Phog, several posters are claiming Mizzou wants out of the SEC with TX and OU entering and KU and Mizzou to the B1G could be real. Wouldn't that be crazy? I know Mizzou wanted the B1G and "settled" for the SEC, but not sure I want those assholes in our new conference.

There are posts showing up on other team’s boards (specifically UT and MSU) that Kansas is going to the B1G, possibly with CU or MU. TIFWIW.

I also want to say fuck you to mizzou and them not get their longtime wanted B1G wish, but KU and mizzou in the B1G is a really great fit.

I agree. Brings the KU/Mizzou rivalry back, plus Mizzou already has a semi-rivalry with Illinois, at least in basketball, plus the B1G would pick up the St. Louis and KC markets.

As you suggested, I can't imagine that mizzou is as happy with the OU/UT additions that some of the other SEC schools are.

KU is REALLY quiet (Much like they were during AD and HC search) but there is momentum building towards a KU going to B1G conference in the future. It's been mentioned on a ton of places with people who seem to have some ears on the ground. No national or beat writers will pick it up until it's almost a sure thing. Not close to that yet, but momentum going that way.
