I'm not sure where the whole private employers can't mandate an emergency use vaccine notion came from--I had read it in the media as well. That's not true, though, they can still mandate an emergency use vax. However, full approval likely means less lawsuits challenging a mandate on that theory, which is not on the books anywhere.
Overall, not going to change much. These kooks think the FDA is in on the conspiracy.
It's not that they can't, but it might give some that were on the fence the extra reason to do so.
You might be right. I think employers are straight sick of hearing the bullshit from their conspiracy employees. Done with the excuses.

In a world where it's nearly impossible to keep a secret. Somehow every nurse, doctor, government official, and scientist in the world were able to plan and coordinate a global conspiracy with no leaks. Impressive.
Always one of my favorite parts about conspiracies: "These world leaders that I hate are the dumbest MFers to ever walk the planet, but are fully capable of flawlessly pulling off some of the biggest coverups in world history"

I thought that a lot during the Trump years too.

Oregon is expecting to lose 30% of its nurses and 30% of its teachers after enacting vaccine mandates. Exacerbating already critical shortages.

Oh well. Find a new job... If I were in the hospital, I wouldn't want an unvaxed nurse treating me.

I understand why they are quitting - an employer shouldn't have control over your body.
That said, I wouldn't want an unvaccinated teacher around my kids.

Question - what do you think is the true
purpose of paid sick leave?
And then, extrapolate that out.

That too. And TBH, I have no idea if my kid's Kindergarten teacher is vaxed...

Why? If youre vaxed then your risk is the same either way.
Its also not about them finding new jobs.
Its about not having enough trained staff to fill positions in fields that sre already stretched thin.
Also, without rehashing the whole damn argument. Its about setting a slippery slope precedent.

My wife has had to have a flu shot for years. Now they are requiring the vax. I don't see much difference.

There isn’t a full third of the country dedicated to get the flu to own the libs?

I see your reach of a connection.
I decided not to warrant that extreme reach a response.

What are the chances this goes from pandemic to endemic? Seems pretty likely to me.

There's no reach at all. Companies have an interest in suppressing the transmission of contagious diseases ("stopping the spread," one might say) among their employees, customers and vendors.

Unless they have a damned good medical reason I don’t want an unvaccinated medical professional administering treatment to me. I would consider a nurse or doctor refusing vaccination to be inadequately trained. I would have no confidence in the medical care they are about to provide me. It’s not unlike having a policeman who didn’t believe in STOP signs or speed limits.

Lol. Ok. I dont stand on as high of a moral high ground when I'm bleeding out my ears or having crippling chest pains. But more power to ya for sticking to your guns
