Of course, I (and others wouldn’t have to do this) if it weren’t for you brain dead pieces of shit who are too scared to get a damn shot.

Fuck all of you “because I don’t want to”, “it’s my freedom”, “own the libs!” morons.

Randy, do you have a fucking kid? Ah forget it. You wouldn’t get it anyway.

Try being a parent to young kids right now…

Covid poses almost zero threat to children. The flu kills more every season than covid19 has since the beginning. They don't need masks. If you want to be a good parent teach them its ok to be normal. Dont terrify them with stats from puff piece articles youve read and unnecessary mandates. The world is not ending

Why is my health insurance so much higher?

But only a small percentage of people got a serious case of covid, why do the rest of us healthy people have to pay for that?
Because apparently health insurance is now a right?

Only republicans do hysteria bro.

Just forget the last 4 years of never-ending dem hysteria. Those don't count.
The covid situation today still stems from dem hysteria. It wouldn't have been blow out of proportion to this extent if not for the election. The dems used covid and used it well as a tool to the white house. Covid is a lose lose situation for a politician and they used it to get Trump out of the white house. Unfortunately now biden has to deliver on impossible promises he made tho

Remember when Dems kept telling us the covid vaccine wouldn't even be ready until this summer or fall? And yet we had it ready to go about 9 months ago....if Trump were still in office i think it is reasonable to assume (yes assume brocoach) that the Dems would have been vocally skeptical of the vaccine and how quickly it got pushed out.

Just really makes you wonder how different this entire thing goes if 1) the election went the other or 2) if it was kids getting sickest at the beginning rather than adults.

The fact that even this is political shows how fucked our country is.

Health insurance is not the same as health care.

Car insurance is not the same as having a car or drivers license.

Outside of randy, there's not a poster in this thread making it more political than you are.

I night be the least political person on here. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean its political. My point this entire thread is people need to be able to make their own choices and decisions. Im anti mandate anti government regulation. Im trying to bring things back to reality and remove politics from it. Stating the obvious that the dems blew covid out of proportion to use in the election is just stating what happened. Did you not watch any debates or anything

Do you think that is by accident? 🤔

(And also, i disagree....our resident super libs have been making it political since the beginning)

The vaccines were approved in December when Trump was still in office.

Trump was in office when deals were made and plans were approved for the vaccine.

There is one party that at the moment is anti-science and it started before Trump was elected. I'm saying this as a scientist taking my own political feelings out of it.

I don't think opinions would flip flop. The narrative would've continued as it was, Trump's not doing enough, Trump's not taking it seriously, Trump's not acting quickly enough. The two parties wouldn't just flip their trust in science because administrations changed.

In March of 2020 my dad insisted the whole fuss was “nothing more than yet another political stunt by the dems trying to make the president look bad”

but even he has since walked it back.

And all it took, was two of his golf buddies dying from covid last summer.

Not that it’s a real sport.

If politics were removed from all this >85% of Americans would be vaccinated. The numbers would be a lot lower. We'd be wearing masks in places where it was needed. There would be no anti-vax rallies, and protests, and all that garbage.

Hell, we wouldn't even be arguing about vaccine mandates or passports cause we'd all have just done it.

but I think we do know.

Trump was in office during the entirety of vaccine development and even the early stages of it being deployed.

I don't think democrats were Anti-vax and then suddenly flipped after the inauguration.

I don't know why repubs didn't embrace this as "Trump's vaccine". The anti-vaxxing among so many republicans is disappointing and doesn't really make sense. I don't think this many were anti-vax prior
