per the Washington Post:
Emergency aid money has been funneled through the United Nations and international agencies, including more than $500 million from the United States since August, to provide food, shelter and health care, along with direct payment of some salaries to government employees such as health-care workers.
The United Nations has set up a program to distribute those donations without releasing them into the hands of the Taliban, whose organization and many of its leaders are under sanctions. The administration pressed for a U.N. Security Council resolution in December to exempt a broad range of humanitarian activities from sanctions, and issued its own Treasury Department waivers.

Wasn’t it Trump’s boy Pompeo who negotiated the transfer of power to the Taliban?
Then team Biden who just kinda ad libbed a hasty withdrawal.
And either way the country’s people are still apparently struggling with things like food and shelter. I’d ask once again just what exactly we were doing there for 20 fucking years, but I’m beginning to think no one actually knows.
Well, maybe Q does.

Biden and Democrats in general are really, really bad at messaging. I don't understand how politicians can be so bad at politics.
This was the same problem they all had when talking about the infrastructure spending.
They should talk about the benefits, but instead they just talk about the costs.
