I'll be sure to bring up what you've been saying about hunter dickinson later

Coming off similar regular seasons, jokic has been significantly better in the playoffs, and embiid was significantly worse. My KU bias fucked me there

I wanted embiid to finally get his mvp, after consistently finishing 2nd to this dude while having similar seasons. He won it, so obviously the whole NBA felt the same way

But jokic is a lot better. Best player in the world right now

The 76ers been a garbage organization that just fired a bad coach has never helped tho

Embiid is a better 2 way player. Because he is dominant on both sides. But what jokic is doing on offense is special. Nba has never seen a dude like him

Three posts in a row of scrambling/flailing.
As far as bringing up Hunter posts, I really haven't said anything negative about his skills on the court, it's clear he's one of the best bigs in the country, should make 1st team B12 and be in the running for B12POY, so have at it.

If embiid wouldn't have regressed in the playoffs, you wouldn't have had a point to be obnoxious about

But embiid was a major disappointment

The question is, can we blame some of that on his team, system, and coach?

I never said that 'we all know' that Embiid was the better player and then, 40 or so days later, said Jokic was the best player and it wasn't close.

I think both those guys, along with Giannis, have arguments to be the best guys in the NBA at this moment ( aka this season ). It's also why I think the season MVP should include the playoffs so that smarter versions of you who vote on it could go through the same transgressions as you have but, you know, with critical thinking and less flailing.

Finals mvp is an award for the player who carried his team through the playoffs and had the best playoff run

Mvp is for the guy who carried his team through the regular season

Thats the current system

Biggest problem I saw with Embiid in the playoffs is not adjusting to the double-team. They were doubling him in the lane and stripping the ball. He needs to adjust to how he was being defended in the playoffs. Kudos to Celtics for scouting and executing.

BTW, turning point of game 7 was Harden's blown layup while hitting a defender in the face.

Speaking of harden, sounds like he's done with Philly

Harden - Buys his boy The Never Ending Process a Rollie for winning MVP - and then quickly says sayonara dude. Good for him?

The watch is cheap compared to one night in the Houston strip clubs for harden. Supposedly that's why he wants to go back to Houston

Good. Philly has enough overweight, poorly conditioned stars that fold when the intensity of the playoffs ramps up. Give Harden's salary to someone who will push Embiid to get his ass in playoff shape. He is in regular season shape, not NBA Finals shape.
