I don't think Trump realizes how thin of ice he's on.

If Fox completely turn on him, then so will enough of the GOP senators and governors to bring this whole charade to a close.

The OANN and Newsmax crazies are the jet fuel that Trump's ego needs, but they do not represent anything close enough in size for Trump to preserve the little institutional support he's got left.

The man is so obsessed with winning, ratings, numbers. If they are in his favor and cast him in what he feels is a positive light - they are ALWAYS great, they are true, etc.
When they are against him and cast him in a negative light - They are ALWAYS fake, fraud, a lie, etc.

I admit I don't know a whole lot about OANN and Newsmaxx but from what I do know, if they are what people in our country are turning to to get their news - this country is massively fucked (even more so than we already are in many ways) and I hate to see what's to come of it.

This is sort of the crux of his illness, right? It's true of absolutely everything. Every single vote for him was legal. Enough of the votes for Biden's weren't, such that Trump wins.

I consider it to be in my self-interest to have a pretty tight handle on the bad-and-getting-worse mental state of somewith with the launch codes (among many other things), sure. Guilty.

It concerns me a lot more that Trump has cared more about daytime cable tv ratings than seemingly anything else, or that he genuinely seems to think that the only valid votes are the ones cast for him, than it concerns me that Fish hangs on Trump's every word.

Right, and it's during a critical time in our country's history, and the tweet's are relevant to that.

I hated all the tweets about shit like Covfefe and if he had toilet paper stuck to his shoe. In those cases Mich's post applies....not here, not right now.

More important than the world paying attention is the segment of US citizens paying attention who really, truly believe the bullshit.

That number is so large that it is inevitable that some tiny sliver of that segment will do something fucking nuts.

Like, say, occupy a state capitol with long guns, or plot to kidnap a state governor.
