but what does it do to his legacy if he knocks him out…at 60? (not TKO…legit KO)

rather than a sad footnote, his story becomes even more legendary, doesn’t it?

I haven't subscribed to Netflix for ~ 3.5 years.

Who will win Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul? It might be Netflix.

The boxing match on Friday night between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has generated a huge amount of global interest based on social media trends and Google search data.

The spotlight for investors will be on Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), which has the exclusive broadcast rights to the event. Notably, the fight is available to all of Netflix's (NFLX) +280 million subscribers for no additional fee, which is a drastic change for consumers from paying a premium on a service like HBO (T).

J.P. Morgan thinks the Tyson-Paul fight could be the most watched boxing match ever due to the ease of access and NFLX's large global subscriber base. The firm expects to be a Q4 positive for Netflix (NFLX) on the earnings front, with incremental ad tier subscribers, total viewers, and sales all getting a boost.

The Tyson-Paul fight is widely considered by analysts a milestone moment for Netflix (NFLX) as it looks for a profitable strategy with live programming.

The sports betting sector also has a lot to gain with the high-profile fight. "I expect Tyson vs. Paul to be the most-bet-on boxing match in BetMGM history," stated BetMGM (MGM) (OTCPK:GMVHF) senior trader Alex Rella. "This is the rare fight that transcends different demographics: Tyson supporters, old-school boxing fans that may have tuned out in recent years, Jake Paul haters and casual sports fans that want to be included in the conversation," he noted.

In general, the sportsbooks have an unbalanced amount of money from the nostalgic public on Mike Tyson, which means that they are rooting for Jake Paul to win. The total amount of bet is expected to be enough to move the Q4 earnings meter for DraftKings (DKNG) and FanDuel (FLUT), depending upon how the prop bets and parlays play out.

Shares of Netflix (NFXL) were down 2.2% in Friday morning trading.

I generally hate boxing, mma etc, but may watch this. No idea who the other dude is.

More evidence it never would have worked for us, and you should try to forget me.

I’m afraid Mike Tyson, as good as he once was, may now be just too old to be in this contest.

Is it too late for Kamala Harris to step in?

did Tyson/Paul just break the internet?

Netflix just keeps buffering

Twitter had it on one live stream or another but now it's down

Youtube pretends to have it but it's just vloggers shouting NO ONE CAN STREAM THIS RIGHT NOW

think we might just put on cartoons

I watched the whole fight.
I want my money back - and I didn't pay a penny to watch it.

Well put. Oh, and thanks for the link/idea to put it on Twitter once Netflix crapped out.

Tyson at least looked like he belonged in the ring…30 years ago.

Paul looked like a roided out YouTube bro who didn’t know boxing so much as he knew how to flail around for attention.

Both looked like little more than a publicity stunt.

Couple meh punches landed each but still meh. Lots of hugging a dancing around except Tyson’s legs couldn’t dance and Paul’s dumbass couldn’t figure out how to take advantage.

Paul won the draw but Tyson won the play hard chart. Pretty impressive a dood that old could even get in the ring at all, let alone for 8 rounds.

I couldn't stay up waiting for it. Just watched it.

LOL

Tyson looked ok for 2 rounds and then he was gassed and spent all his time biting his glove like a weirdo.

Jake Paul is not really very good at boxing. He's not bad though. And since he's filthy rich, he can spend all his time training.

Tyson is lucky he didn't get knocked out. He was wobbly after getting hit a bunch of times.

I also wonder if Tyson wasn't on some steroids...this sounds weird, but his nipples looked puffy, which is a possible sign of steroid use.

How soon before someone like Canelo says fuck it and fights Jake Paul? Paul will likely get beaten badly, but it'll be a huge payday. That fight was as big as anything recently. Didn't check numbers yet, but the buzz felt similar to Mayweather Pacquiao. And even that fight was a disappointment in my eyes because it happened years too late.

Boxing sort of sucks now.
