I don't think you know what you're talking about, DC, and the articles don't make it at all clear. But do you want all the Republican SOEs in the Panhandle to be removed from office immediately and the vote counting stopped in those crucial Republican counties?

Because they weren't releasing the information about how many ballots there were in various categories, either. It sounds as if, in all cases, the SOEs are trying to run the machine recount as quickly as possible without stopping to offer information to the various parties and campaigns. \

It's also quite obvious that Scott and company are trying to figure out a rationale for removing the Broward SOE from office and stop the recount. Do you really support not counting the votes of voters?

After all, a recount is also part of Florida Election law.

You have a link to that declaration about other counties? Because everything I've seen names Broward and Palm Beach as the only two counties to have missed the state deadline and refused to provide the Scott campaign the information it was entitled to.

And you'll forgive me if I find your blanket defense of a woman previously found to have destroyed legal votes intentionally to be kinda high-larious.

DC is just getting by on semantics and shock value is all. When you say "multiple violations of the state Constitution" then it sounds nefarious and deliberate like they are running around cheating and adding fake ballots to rig the election when in fact the violations are just technically a violation of their Constitution by not meeting the criteria for sharing information in a timely manner when a request is made. I would suspect that they have their hands full down their because they have set up an unorganized system with not enough double checks and safeguards and that it is difficult to step out in the middle of that and give Scott all the information he is requesting.

Any good lawyer would tell their client to score some easy PR points by muddying the water with a legal request that would be nearly impossible to fulfill. It's a great way for Scott to do a Trump and make it look like everyone else is cheating as smokescreen to cover up any improper actions that he may have taken.

The system for counting votes, figuring out how to deal with ballots that someone dripped on that won't go through the machines, transferring faxed military ballots to ones that are machine countable, comparing signatures on no picture ID provisional ballots and all kinds of other technical ballot counting stuff takes time. As does running all the ballots through the counting machines. Even in a small county, it takes about 8 hours, at least.

That the SOEs in the Panhandle weren't offering information more than in Broward is not something that DC will ever talk about, because his only interest is in seeing Donald Trump remain in office and having the known crook as a Senator might help.

However, where is DC complaining about the SOE in Bay County who admits that he allowed illegal votes? Oh wait, Bay County--that's a huge Republican stronghold, what are a few illegal votes there?

Here's the story of illegal voting allowed in Bay County that DC won't want to talk about, since it's a close current election, not some primary where the person who sued had lost by 13 points and where there were electronic copies of all the discarded ballots.

But, as you note, twocoach, DC only wants to make it sound nefarious. Actual illegal votes--not a problem.

No, DC, the article that you pointed out to me--when it was about Democrats--suggested that the Broward County SOE office should be placed in receivership and the SOE removed from office by Mr. Medicare Fraud hisself.

The Bay County guy should get the same treatment. Who knows what he may have done in the confusion of the election in Bay County, when the voting process was very last minute in preparation. What we do know is that your Republican SOE had deliberate intent in circumventing both election law and direct instructions.
