Pesek-Hinson: great get prospect wise. His dad seems a little nutty, though.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 8:31 am KU got a guy that was committed to Michigan from KC. Amauri Pesek-Hinson.

Also got a QB from North Carolina. Big guy. Had offers from Navy and Army so the dude can run.

According to the 247 site KU and kstate both are struggling with in-state kids. Kansas at a huge disadvantage with open scholarships, but still need to do better with the top kids in state.
No offer to Dineen. Which, might end up being a mistake pipeline-wise, but he wasn't going to play here.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:03 amAccording to the 247 site KU and kstate both are struggling with in-state kids. KU has 3 of the top 15 Kansas kids.
kstate has 4 of the top 15 Kansas kids.
Potter the OLB? Not sure yet. But he is currently with kstate, but that is not expected to stick after today. It seems to be between KU and Texas Tech.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:00 amDo we know where the linebacker from Oklahoma is going yet?NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 8:31 am KU got a guy that was committed to Michigan from KC. Yeah same thing with KU around 2003 or so. Got Brandon McAnderson and Adrian Mayes from Manhattan High. Both played big roles on the 07 team.
I didn't realize that Pesek-Hinson only played football for first time last year.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:00 amPesek-Hinson: great get prospect wise. Very true. Will be interesting to see what Les and Co can do with a full class.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:14 am Just some tough decisions have to be made to cut guys out when you can only offer 15.
This. Because of the hand that was dealt to him Les had to make some tough decisions. Sucks that it had to be to a legacy family like the Dineen's but I hope that is a sign that Les is going to do the right things for the long term future of this program not necessarily the easy things.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:14 am Just some tough decisions have to be made to cut guys out when you can only offer 15.
My wife bought my season tickets for Christmas this year and I, for one am PUMPED. See you on the Hill!NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 10:55 am And I know this may sound dumb..
But if you're able, try to buy season tickets at the 3-year loyalty pricing they have. You can sit in the bowl for under $20/ticket a game and get to see 7 home games this year. Or sit midfield for $50/ticket a game. Not bad prices.
I'd be there if I didn't have my kids' games in the morning on top of being 2 hours away. I know some of you are in KC/Lawrence area, so it could be easy for you to attend. Putting butts in the seats will help this program. I will attend at least one game this year as schedule allows.
I think this is exciting times ahead for Kansas football. Long and company are doing their best to make this look and feel like a P5 program. Les and staff have busted their asses in the recruiting period and I think the program's arrow is pointed up.
Word is Potter signed with KU, but don't know if it's official yet.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:08 amPotter the OLB? Not sure yet.
