Grimes on the road in Wichita on ESPN2. He’s 2-4 and the 2 misses were ugly.
“I don’t remember anything he said, but it was a very memorable speech.” Julian Wright on a speech Michael Jordan gave to a group he was in

Charlie Moore and DePaul with a huge upset win today. Good for them. This program is so hot and cold, it seems like Charlie has found his niche.

When I was a kid here in Chicago, DePaul was the biggest game in town. Maybe they're on their way back. Have a newer, impressive arena. They appear to have some talent.

But I believe they are not allowed to be in the tournament this year - right, Gutter?

Sorry chikn - Just seeing this now thanks to Illini's heads up.
Loved me some DePaul Basketball back in the good old days.
Not a huge fan of WinTrust (don't hate it but far from love it) and still can't comprehend why they couldn't build a bigger arena on/near campus.
Unless something changed after the punishment was originally announced, they ARE allowed to be in the tournament this year.
I don't see them making the tournament if they are sub .500 in conference but heck - they showed they can take #14 to OT and beat #5. They also beat (then unranked) Texas Tech.
