That’s such a sad observation, yet valid.
I approach social media mostly for trophy fish photos and puppy videos.
Too many others approach it as little more than a medium for OuTrAgE!!
Plus, it’s a golden opportunity for corporations, hackers, and the government to mine your data to use as they see fit. Win/win.
Your phone is listening to you whether you use social media or not. My wife was talking about a product while in a store and had an ad pop up for it the next time she logged in. It's creepy AF.

I think I'm in the vast minority here, but I like it. "They" don't care about you specifically. It's all about making money by better connecting consumers and the businesses that provide things they're looking for. Everyone wins.

I dont say anything they would ever be interested in, but it still feels intrusive to me. By nature I'm private and not very trusting

I get that and I think most people are like that - but keep in mind no people are listening to you, ain't nobody got time for that - it's just algorithms and bots created by companies that are well aware of how sensitive people are to being spied on, and who are completely screwed if they take that too far because of the public backlash it would cause (I hope). I trust the free market on this.

Tucker is going crazy as well.
The most radical ticket in US history!
More radical than an impeached racist/narcissist/grifter/serial philanderer/tax fraud teamed with an evangelical who can't be in the same room with another woman unless his wife is also in the room?
If you say so Tucker.
But being the passive aggressive pussy that he is, Tucker now refuses to pronounce her name correctly on air.
That will teach her to be uppity!

Vegas odds did go down for Biden after he chose Harris. Of course, he is still in the lead. If there are any debates this year, they could be very important.
