Yeah, Goodman was advocating that. It just seems....sad....to seed the tournament for no reason.

Just found this on KU Sports:

University of Kansas Athletic Director Jeff Long said in a statement Thursday that all athletic-related travel is canceled indefinitely, and home and away athletic events have been suspended in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The statement came shortly after all NCAA conference basketball tournaments were canceled and the fate of the NCAA Tournament was in the balance. It's unclear how the decision could be impacted should the NCAA tournament ultimately end up being played. As of now, KU Athletics spokesman Dan Beckler said KU's decision does not mean that the university has withdrawn from the NCAA tournament.

My guess is that it will not have specific sites (perhaps other than the Regionals and Final Four).

They'll just seed the regions.
Or even more vague - seed the teams ranked 1 - 68.

Good point. I would imagine that they try to play entire regionals (Like MW 1-16 seeds) all in one site.

All Midwest games played in Indy.
All South games in Houston.
All East games in NYC.
All West games in LA.

Don't know logistics, but that will help keep things to a specific area for each region. Takes travel costs/time on planes/buses out of the typical tournament.

UNC wouldn't have qualified for the CBI even.
No team under .500 has been invited to the CBI since it's beginning.
