WASHINGTON—The Biden administration is ending settlement talks that could have led to payments totaling $1 billion to families separated in 2018 under the Trump administration’s zero-tolerance immigration policy.
The government will instead begin taking individual cases to trial, litigating lawsuits filed on behalf of hundreds of families seeking monetary damages for the psychological trauma they say the separations caused

Yeah for real.
The illegal immigration problem in Merica began about 500 years ago.
Straight from the CRT talking points reference sheet.

Alcoholic squatter. Not my type regardless.
Now, his “injun” gal in Legends of the Fall is another story. But still a squatter.

Haha, "CRT talking points".
As in, accusing the left of having talking points about CRT. That's pretty much the definition of irony... right?

LOL. Teaching history is fine. Insisting that everyone in history is either an oppressor or a victim is a thinly-veiled recipe for disaster.

But how about when we teach history in a way that downplays the oppression?

Not good either. We've got to find ways to teach the truth. Some of that truth is gross.

Who told you it's the central focus?
What schools teach CRT?

I'm still confused as to why people are up in arms for teaching the truth in history classes. It's not like they haven't been energetically waving the American flag through previous history lessons.

Ok, show me the balanced way to teach history in a way that explains we have had race-based slavery and segregation in this country longer than the time we haven’t

They don’t officially teach it, but people like you, who have to force it into the narrative, also teach. You forget that I spend all day around educators.

Why does that matter? Are they a current reality?
