Hopefully this is the beginning of a new trend. I've always thought it was dumb to play the national anthem before non-international sporting events. Good for Cuban.

Agreed. Anthem prior made no sense in the first place.

I'm a fan of the anthem but if they want to loose it, that's their call.
So I think Woj nailed this. It seems that it would make the most sense that Cuban axed the Anthem mostly because there aren't any fans and seems pretty silly to do all this pregame stuff in an empty building. However, I had no idea that the league mandated the anthem.

Georges Niang had 21 points in 16 minutes - going 7 for 7 from 3.

The Davis-less Lakers are 0-3 in their last 3 games. The Durant-less Nets are 6-0 in their last 6.
For whatever that's worth.

I don't remember why we should hate Niang - he was super passionate - but I don't recall him being an asshole, ala Marcus Smart flipping on our home court.
ISU fans are obnoxious but of the B12 teams, I kinda like Iowa State, from the original Big 6/Big 8.

I remember a window of time when I thought Perry Ellis was as good as Niang. That was dum.

Niang was afraid of flying.
Perry was afraid of his own shadow.

Wrong unathletic ISU point-forward.

Oh man, I forgot that guys name - Royce something - wore long socks, had a good NCAA tourney.
He got drafted and then flamed out of the NBA.

Oh yeah, maybe that was it.
I just remember he made Perry look like such a rag doll on defense that we had to finish the game with Selden guarding him instead

We talking the Perry Ellis that scored 1,672 more points than SDS?
Same guy who had 709 more rebounds than SDS?
That guy who blocked more shots as a sophomore than SDS did in his career yet committed less than half as many TOs per 40 minutes?
Keep ragging on the guy who started 109 games for KU while being in love with the felon who started 1. That's a good look.
