I like most of old country.
I like most of 80s music.
I do not like a lot of alt/indie/pop music put out today.

I wear sandals in the summer.

Who cares what people wear? Does it make you feel better to make fun of them? KC is notorious for people wearing K-State and KU gear year round, even on the Plaza and NOT on game days. I wear what I want to wear and don't care what others think. And if somebody is shorter than average for a guy, who cares. I'm 6'0" and I don't make fun of friends that are shorter....it's genes, not something you can control. Maybe they are self conscious because jackasses like you poke fun at them. This isn't high school, but you act like you are still in HS.

. Dude, you are livin the California (well, Colorado) dream. Living in the mountains, fly fishing, doing your thing that makes you happy. Probably a lot of us wish we had followed a different path in life (at least me), but it is what it is.
