While Carlson was fired from the network in April, his contract with Fox would have seen him collect payment from the network through 2025 IF he refrained from creating content that would compete with Fox’s own programming.
reading is fun!

I am with Randy. How can they call it competition with Fox if he does exactly the same fact-free rants he did on Fox after he signed an agreement he wouldn't? Isn't that called socialism by fishstick?

In what world can a business control you after they fire you unexpectedly?
He was an employee. He is no slave. That'll be a political legal shitshow

Just when you begin to accept that nothing makes sense, it does!

So they don't continue paying him. Doubt he cares.
Also, he's not working for a television program

They terminated his contract and let him go. I really doubt they have any legal ground to stand on there
But yes, they will desperately try to silence him. Or waste as much of his time and resources as they can with legal issues
VGR!
Do you actually read ANYTHING about the shit you spew? There is a good reason why I gave you the nickname "USA Today" this morning.
Let me help you here. Fox did NOT terminate his contract.

So why not just terminate his contract?
Because they care more about trying to silence him

I'm still looking for the muthafuckin slouchy chair they took from tucky's studio. If anyone spots it on Craiglist let me know.

What's he want for them? I will pay cash.
Will he crate them or do I need to have a furniture carrier pick them up?
Either way I'm in. I would put one on either side of Satchel Paige's deathbed in Casa Troche y Moche. It would create a nice little conversation grouping. We could set in them while drinking beers and you can tell me how soft his hand is when you shook it.

In a world where the contract you sign explicitly defines it. Tucker wanted the money from Fox so he signed a legally binding contract and now he has to deal with the terms of that contract even if they negatively impact him. It's likely that he simply looked at those terms and said "I'll never get fired so that won't cause he any problems.
Too few prepare for the unexpected and even fewer are smart enough to build a beneficial off ramp into their employment contract.

Because it is in their financial best interest to keep the contract in place. It's called "free enterprise" which GOP voters claim they are so in favor of. Sorry if you only like the good parts of things and can't handle the bad.

Satchel's hands were remarkably soft for a man of his age and profession.

Probably from all the massages with crazy ointments he got from trainer Frank Floyd.
