Nevermind - I see you edited it.
According to this - https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/sc ... -game.html
Wilt had 22 in a game. Collison had 21.

Wilt had 36 rebounds vs Iowa State in 1958.
That's the most in a Kansas game.
Collison had 23 in his I think 22 points, 23 rebounds v Texas ( Dick Vitale standing ovation game ).

Aaron Miles technically had the most assists in a game for a Self player but he did it when he was playing for Roi. 15 assists as a freshman v Texas Tech in the 2001-2002 season.

He also technically had the most steals in a game for a Self player, 9 vs Iowa State, but did it just a couple months before roi left for UNC.

Which 2 players are tied for the single season rebound record for a freshman?

Cole and…
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

To clarify, I mean total rebounds for the whole season, not single game in a season.
Cole rode that bench for most of the champ season ( sans his domination of Tyler in the FF game ).

So with 12/10/10 against UK, Kevin McCullar is the third player to record a triple double under Self at KU.

Who are the other two?

Aldridge, Whitey. Both of those were achieved with 10 blocks, rather than the more common assists.

Wilt, unofficially, many times.

Surprised Danny never did, but he didn't have much to pass too.

I respectfully disagree.
His Freshman or Sophomore seasons he had at least 5 teammates who were either drafted in the NBA or played in the NBA. Granted, the NBA Draft had more than 2 rounds back then. ;)
What's surprising to me is that Danny only averaged 8.1 rebounds and only averaged 2.3 assists per game in college.

'Only' averaged 8.1 rebounds?
There are just four Jayhawks after Danny that averaged more than that for their career.

Can we name them?

No offense taken, Gutter.

Yes, to me - "only". Especially when I think of Danny's last game in a KU uniform.
I could be wrong but my guess is there aren't too many guys over 6-8 that stayed in school more than 1 season that were drafted #1 that averaged less than 8.1 rebounds.

* My bad! You said "AFTER" Danny.
I'll rethink my answer/s.

Without Clint Normore there is a darn good chance there would be one less National Championship banner hanging in Allen.
I'm just sayin'.

The answer to your trivia question is.... My guess is you are wrong and there are/were more than 4.
If you're right, I'm going to go with Wilt, Raef, Bridges, and after that, it's a crap shoot. I'll guess maybe one of the following - Robisch, Mokeski, Ostertag, Aldrich.
I didn't know that Wilt played after Danny. Or Bridges.
I see where the confusion is though.
There are just four Jayhawks that came after Danny that averaged more than that for their career.
