I’m flattered, but I’m sure there are better role models for you to emulate.

Our family has been going to Maui since 2009, about every other year and usually stay on Kaanapali beach area. Lahaina and Front Street are among our hangouts. We really feel for those affected and we have chosen to express our support through the linked charity.

There is nothing inappropriate about what Mick Fleetwood said. His “thoughts and prayers” are expressed as a first step to his promised actions. Psych seems to believe that the phrase’s meaning is according to the Republican response to mass murder - which translates to “nothing”

Why should we be freaking out? It’s literally what climate scientists have been warning us about for decades. It feels inevitable b/c there isn’t sufficient will or agreement to change it. Rather than freaking out, I’m resigned to a deep depression about it.

Terrible. Kelowna is a great spot. Big lake monster supposedly in that lake. Beautiful area. I played in some big canadian bball tournament throughout BC in 99? anyway one of the sites was in Kelowna. Also been through there on the way to Banff Lake Louise and Jasper. Just a nice area, gets more awesome the farther northeast you go up into the mountains but I remember thinking Kelowna was pretty cool.

It’s sort of like, I love you and don’t want you to be sick. I feel bad that you’re uncomfortable and in pain. I don’t believe you “deserve” suffering.

But at the same time, yo, maybe four packs a day since 1967 wasn’t a great idea! It says so right there on the side of each pack!

Canada should still have to pay. For being Canada.
