100 years from now they will look back on the china fungus and how the world handled it. as one of the greatest clusterphucques in the history of the world. they could not have handled it much worse if they tried.

Medical experiment. Is the only accurate label for the covid vaccine that was rushed out
Rushed out, to try to stop the virus that we didn't know much about from killing half of the country?

I suppose we should have looked harder at the "tried and true" leeches method.
So the virus that had a fatality rate of maybe 1 percent was killing half the country???

Lollllll

(Also about 90 percent of the deaths, the 1 percent fatality rate, were people with other underlying conditions, so really it was more like a fatality rate of .1 percent)
You assume that the death rate would have stayed exactly the same if no vaccine was ever created. I don't think it's even remotely reasonable to make that assumption.

No possibility at all that the mortality rate was kept down by preventive measures...right?

Worse - They could have done what they did in the days of the Black Plague and told everyone to go to church and pray hard for a miracle while coughing the virus all over each other.

Worse - They could have simply said "it's like the flu, go about your business and don't do anything differently. Some of you will die but we'll all die eventually so deal with it."

The vaccine changed almost nothing. 99 percent of people never needed it to survive covid. Society would have continued either way

It may have bought a few years for a few people. But how many old vaccinated people have died anyways since 2020?

It will never stop boggling my brain how weak the logic is in support of such stupidity. Ranks right up there with "if you can smell a fart through your mask then it isn't protecting you from covid".

Real people who study such things disagree with your off the cuff remark made with zero knowledge, research or understanding.

And yes "society would have continued either way" as we all agree that this was not some sort of apocalyptic event where vaccines were necessary to avoid the extinction of humans. Duh.

The vaccine had known side effects before it was released. It wasn't tested to see if it would stop the spread before it was released. It was a flawed vaccine.

So for every exception that the vaccine saved, it also created heart problems within young healthy people who didn't need it

i’d LOVE to hear randy’s summary of basic epidemiology
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

It's like saving a man who gets shot in a river from drowning. Sure, you can go around saying (your vaccine) stopped him from drowning, but he still is fucked cause he dies from the bullet wound

Wanting to force an entire population to get vaccinated to save some old sickly people is the dumbest episode in modern history

As always, Randy (intentionally and/or ignorantly) plays the subjective endpoints game.

Randy constantly wants to muddle timelines, and (as and where convenient) use what we DIDN'T know in early 2020 to criticize what was done in early 2020, and handwave over very obvious tactical and strategic errors that WERE made in early 2020, because the worst case scenario failed to come to pass.

Having the vaccine available for those that truly needed it was a great thing.

But trying to coerce and guilt everyone into getting it so that big pharma could rake in billions of taxpayer dollars is beyond fucked up. And yet so many of you couldn't see that and played right along. Just like they wanted

We knew from the very beginning that covid had a very low fatality rate

On one hand, there's Randy and his youtube videos.

On the other hand, there's the scientific community and their peer research and adherence to the scientific method.

Quite a cage match.

More than a million Americans died! By the time it's all said and done, it's likely that more Americans will have died of Covid than in ALL US WARS COMBINED.

Masks are for the protection of the wearer. Vaccines are only effective if they prevent transmission.

That's the summary.

There's nothing accurate about this statement. There were all kind of varying opinions within the scientific community

And sometimes, people would have the same opinions and still suggest different approaches to a problem

Like with everything, you just invent facts to support your argument instead of looking at the actual facts. It saved FAR more than just a bunch of old people. Saying otherwise is just lying.
