Well that seems like a strange coincidence.
Voter registration spiked in the 48 hours since President Joe Biden officially stepped down from his candidacy for reelection and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, according to the nonpartisan voter registration site Vote.org.
"We registered nearly 40,000 voters — an almost 700% daily increase in new registrations," CEO Andrea Hailey posted on X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday morning. "That’s the largest number of new voters registered over a 48 hour period we’ve seen this entire cycle."
The largest demographic signing up: people aged 18-34, according to the nonprofit organization.
That's even more than the more than 35,000 new registrations that Taylor Swift inspired last September when she urged her fans to register.
Those damn childless cat ladies.

Looking at the bright side, at least they're not talking about not honoring the results of the next/another election, making state-enforced birth the law of the land, or opening up federal land to more mining and drilling, right?

Oh yeah, no doubt.
Sadly, when you've been observing them since the late 60s, the fact that they're racists hasn't changed, only their willingness to say it out loud. And while it's probably worse that they have the confidence, the permission structure to do it, at least you know that ~ 40% of your friends, relatives, former classmates etc. are bigots, and you're not laboring under the illusion that it's a rare thing anymore...thanks to Trump.
