I love Chama.
We are planning to do an Overlanding trip in late 2025 from Vancouver through Montana, central Wyoming, down the middle of Colorado (a stop in the valley to hand out with some Jayhawks) into NM, over to Bisbee, then Death Valley, up 395 into Oregon and then home.

sounds badass
i’m jealous
We will meet friends along the way.
Some will travel a leg with us, others we will meet for the first time (and make new friends).
Working these trips into meetings is exactly how I came to meet Defix, Japhy, Ousdahl then Dr Pepper and Shirley.
I would love to meet many of you guys in my travels, friends and foes.
Appetizers and a few drinks with good conversation can lead to lifelong friendships.

potatoes o'brien are pretty damn good as part of a breakfast.
also....where's the damn sausage?
also...eggs can slide way down that list and drop off into oblivion for all i care.
This guy gets it
There's sausage in the gravy, and I left sausage off the list because BACON! If there's no bacon, by all means, sausage!
Did someone mention "eggs"?
why can't I have Bacon AND Sausage? this is not pick 1 scenario. Drop the eggs....hell drop the pancakes if I have to. Get bacon and sausage in there together on there and listen to their joyous chorus, hallelujah, a greasy cacophony of mmmmms
my arteries hate me.

Right, but with some melted butter and syrup.
Whoever invented waffles was cool. The world is a better places with waffles in it.
Pancakes = junk! Unless you are very hungry, there isn't much else to eat, and whoever makes them uses some type of malt or a touch of vanilla. Then they can be somewhat satisfying.
Otherwise, JUNK!
I'm not going to say the world is worse off with pancakes in it but I will say it's not a better place because of them.
To those who prefer pancakes over waffles, go eat your turkey sausage instead of pig bacon.

Had the girlies over for dinner last night.
Breakfast for dinner.
G-pa's pancakes, BACON, and hash browns. There were no leftovers.
ETA, then Frozen II on the home theater.

99 FTW!
I love breakfast for dinner!
And, for the record, I like waffles too, but they're much less available.
I like my pancakes thin, and done, i.e., slightly "crisp", with no Frou-frou*!
*Frou-frou: A French word that can be used as a noun or an adjective to describe something that is showy, fancy, or heavily decorated, e.g., powdered sugar.
And 99, don't you mean: "Fwozen"?

lol
On the contrary, I don't like crepes.
I think, in addition to having an undesirable texture, subconsciously, they threaten my masculinity.

agreed.
This is the divey diners thread. Crepes is more like, bistro shit.
so, know what?
You're a crepe, you're a weirdo. What the hell are you doing here? You don't belong here.
