Then team Biden who just kinda ad libbed a hasty withdrawal.

And either way the country’s people are still apparently struggling with things like food and shelter. I’d ask once again just what exactly we were doing there for 20 fucking years, but I’m beginning to think no one actually knows.

Well, maybe Q does.
Fattening the pockets of defense contractors is what we were doing for 20 years.

I talked to someone who was involved in reviewing some of those contracts after the fact. He said the amounts of money spent on nothing, or on contracts that were set up to screw the military, were astronomical. We will never know how much taxpayer money was burned in that boondoggle.

OK, Biden pledged support a couple of days ago, nothing has happened yet.

Yeah, that's not cool. That can't come from the government.

Strange times we are living in.

Wonder how different the reaction would be on the left if this was created during the Trump administration?

I think its a scary deal no matter the administration. I would expect it from China or Russia etc....not from the US.

Those not worried about it (or cheering it on) because trustworthy and spotless Joe is inn the white house should remember that every administration in charge will now control it.

Should push propaganda levels to an all time high....if they can get any higher.

Like with NIL, if the masses scream "do something about it", you have to accept the consequences. "Do something about all the disinformation being spread on Facebook" turned into this dumb idea. We'll see what they actually can do and will do. Right now, it just sounds like the government is setting up their own fact check group. Great idea as a concept but the "how" of how they actually attempt to achieve their objective of "preventing disinformation and misinformation from traveling around the country in a range of communities".

I am skeptical to say the least. Seems like just another thing that people who disagree with whatever topic they go after will ignore and people who agree with it don't need.

if you can't sort through what's bull$#!t and what ain't bull$#!t on the social medias. then you deserve to be duped into whatever you just got duped into.

if you need someone that was appointed by the federal government to tell you. yikes.
