Police accountability shouldn’t have to rely on whether a teenage girl with a cell phone is there.

I would never go to a blue lives matter rally. Mainly because "blue lives matter" didn't exist until the "black lives matter" movement started and i don't think that is an acceptable response.


Personally, i can be pro police and pro BLM. It isn't an either or choice for me.

Again....where are you wanting this accountability to take place...on CNN and the court of public opinion? Or in a court of law where real accountability can be achieved?

They're public servants. And they just killed someone on duty, which was recorded by devices paid for by federal grants.

I'm not even sure what state we are talking about here, but there is the possibility the state legislature has some BS law on the books for body cam footage to try and usurp sunshine laws. Courts don't like that, and it is pretty easy to see why: whether you like it or not, this is the public and press's business.

Of course I want police accountability but I also want people to realize as a whole, "criminals" are bigger assholes and bigger threat to their well being than cops are. No matter what color your skin is.

Again, if cops really did have any justifiable reason to do what they did, they could spare a lot of trouble by just coming out and saying it...

Believe it or not bro, I have single handedly abolished the system in real life.

But it turns out, the only thing more difficult than that, is discussing it on a message bored.

Don't get me wrong, I 100% feel there needs to be massive reassessments made in regards to how police do their job/s and it's 100% unacceptable that people are getting killed who could be apprehended by other means.
I still feel Cops as a whole are much better people than asshole criminals.

They maybe don't have a justifiable reason....my guess is they probably don't. He was shot in the back.

Good cops are not a threat and are not a problem. The "bad" cops are the problem.

Keith Ellison on CNN explaining that yes the public deserves to see the video eventually/ASAP, but not before the investigation and interviewing of witnesses occurs. He indicated that to interview witnesses effectively it is best if everyone has not seen the video so you can see what people say and if they lie.
