If we dont score, can we say our coach failed, or not yet?

Leipold has been a terrible hire for the Big 12. He coaches like an armadillo beetle now. You must have an innovative passing game. I understand the defense has issues. But 10 yard cushions on a terrible QB is pretty flipping stupid. The offense should be scoring points. But because the Big 12 isn't a division 2 league, you can't simply zone block run into a huge box. Leipold has failed to show us that he can coach at this level. This is the worst coached team of the post Mangino era and somebody needs to set him on fire. Emmett Jones can at least recruit and think innovatively with the passing game. Leipold seems to be mailing it in.

Give him a break he only had twice as much time to prepare as the opponent.

Busted out those Royals unis on Homecoming just to get their ass beat.
"Royals unis"?
I assume you know KU Football wore those colors before the Royals existed. Right?
So when the Royals wear "powder blue" do you say they are wearing the KU unis?
P.S. Kansas Football blows elephant dick.
Yes, I do know they used to wear the power blue back in the day (busted them out for a game a few years ago as well)...but they still look like the Royals; where's George Brett's doughnut?
Don't know about his doughnut but like KU Football, he used to shit his pants.

Give Kendrick the job for the rest of the year so Bean doesn't get his head fucked like last year's trauma did to Daniels.

The best line KU will get all season is like +22 right?

I’m not sure if they will get 5k for the rest of the year except for the Tater game when it will be 45k of Taters.
Imagine if you were that individual or family (families) that pledged that ‘insane’ amount of money for the stadium renovations or rebuild. Yikes.

What happens first.
KU wins a bowl game.
Patrick Mahomes wins a third super bowl.

Compared to all the shit we have had since him, yes, Mangino was decent. I will always give him due credit for 2007 but other than that, no matter how you slice it, the guy was 38-47 with a 16-40 record.
There are good reasons he was never a HC before KU and he was never a HC after KU.
Maybe I need to give Mangino more credit when I realize Chuck Weis and Les Miles were a combined 8-40 (2-34 in conference) during their KU tenures. JUNK!

Great question! I hope I'm still alive if/when both happen.
I say Mahomes but my guess is "smart" money would/should be on KU winning a Bowl Game first.
What do you think?

At this rate Mahomes wins a third Super Bowl. With Mahomes you always have a chance.
After what I briefly saw today this program is going to need a minor miracle to get to two wins a year. Sure you might be able to impress an FBS kid with the amenities and facilities Ku has but if you are Neal or Wilson and another school comes calling why would you stick around with this sunken ship.
I thought LL might get us two in the non-con and then sneak one in the conference because of his superior coaching skills compared to his predecessors but I was wrong. Either the talent gap is that bad or he isn’t who we all thought and more importantly hoped he would be.

The talent gap on both lines is huge.
