BTW, turning point of game 7 was Harden's blown layup while hitting a defender in the face.
Biggest problem I saw was that he was too tired to fight for position and demand the ball in the 4th quarter so he could lead his team to victory.

Won't argue with that. Don't think he was 100% physically. That happens a lot in the NBA.

I'm not a smart guy and I don't know a lot about the NBA so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
How/why did Domantas Sabonis (he's a person - not a STD) get 1 4th place vote and 24 5th place votes for league MVP and Jimmy Butler only got 3 5th place votes?
Go ahead, try and convince me Sabonis is more valuable (and/or a better basketball player) than Butler is.

Playoff Jimmy and regular season Jimmy are 2 different players. He elevates his game maybe as much as anyone in the league for the playoffs when he dials in

Butler is cooking.
I figured the Celtics would loose this one.
I think they take the next two though.

at least I can rule out Domantas Sabonis when wondering why it burns when I pee.

Dame wanted to win in Portland, it never happened. He wants a trade. He doesn't want to want a trade, he doesn't want to ask for a trade, but he knows he needs to get the fuck out of there

Down in a hole, feelin' so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
I'd like to fly
But my wings have been so denied

do you think Lebron was singing those last two lines as he went up for that open court dunk?

I think LeBron is singing I can't buy a three in the 4th quarter of the playoffs. He can (and I assume will) only get better in that regard. Unfortunately for him, he may only have two more games to do as such.
The guy at 38 years of age is still playing at a top 10 player in the league level. I feel the man has a few more great years in him. I would sincerely be happy for him if he went out winning a title playing with Bronny. It would be a very cool story.

Speaking of cool stories.....

I know it's a lot easier to win when you have great players but Mike Malone finishing 5th in coach of the year is a bad joke - to me.

Grant Williams sucks. And wtf is he doing in the game in the 4th quarter and Rob Williams is on the bench?

Celtics need a real coach.
The only play they had in the fourth quarter was iso Tatum, iso Jaylen. That’s not going to work. Spolestra is coaching circles around Mazulla.

That's assuming Tatum and Brown can figure out a way to play 4 quarters of meaningful basketball each game. So far, they have yet to prove they can in this series.
Heck, I'm not sure Tatum has made a FG in the 4th Quarter yet.

Possible, but it greatly defies the odds of being down 2-0 in the series.

Especially silly with the 2 losses being at home.
