If people do not see things exactly as you do, you need to shout them down. Silence their voice. Cancel them.

We do need to cancel fraud, deception and corruption. It is so crazy the lengths to which the right wing goes to try to normalize a psychotic. I didn't want Manson tweeting either.

It's amazing that a Michigander, of all people, would fail to grasp the very tangible dangers of letting Trump inflame right-wing extremists with conspiracy theories and non-truths.

Trump has his followers convinced that the patriotic thing to do is to deny the results of our democratic election.
Maybe we're right to question whether some people are seeing things clearly.

You don’t “question.” You:
Shout
Silence
Cancel
In that order.

Do you have something specific that you would like to share that you don't think we're hearing out? Or is it just that some people see the intentional destabilization of our nation being done by our current President as being dangerous and un-American and would like it to stop?

It comes down to a very dangerous, and very prevalent, dynamic: science/math/fact as debatable matters of opinion.
It's the same with votes as it is with Covid and climate change and so on.

Sure he caged children, orphaned them, wrecked the environment, economy and public health, but he deserves to be taken seriously when lies.

Trump ordering major troop drawdown by Jan 15 in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I want enough troops there to be able to do their jobs effectively and from what I am gathering, commanders over there are strongly against this move.
It’s not the right time. Change of government, AlQaeda increasing.
What are we doing?

No matter what he did/does, he should have did/do the opposite.

I agree with the general premise that we need to get our troops out of the hornets nest because they are as much an irritant as a deterrent. Hopefully he works with military leaders on the best path towards that. I do not want to put remaining troops at a higher risk.

I saw an interesting take the other day:
Whenever we have a Merican election, maybe we should give a vote to the citizens of every country in which we maintain a Merican military presence...

Hard pass. I'd settle for getting an easier, more secure way for all Americans to vote. This was the most ever and we'll have what, 70% participation maybe?

I might settle for less of an empire approach, too.
The only empire I want to see is in SW Colorado...

While I am all for turning this over to the Afghanis, this seems a little like setting the next administration up for failure. We saw what happened to the Kurds when we pulled out of Syria unexpectedly and with no plan.
Maybe we should start having an exit plan before invading sovereign countries.
